    When sewing leather, it's always visually nice to use a bigger stitch and a somewhat thicker threat.

    Oh my goodness. My hubby is a guitar player and has a little smaller case for his guitar picks. I told him, hmmm, I think I could make these. Thank you for this tutorial. Perfect timing. I think I might try to embroider an initial on it.

    Hi Christine, you’re a mind reader ! I bought vinyl yesterday to make small gift bags that can be repurposed for holding women small make up items in their handbags .I know I will have left over ….so this video comes just in time for me to use leftover vinyl.
    Thanks for showing us how to create the template. At Amazon , the template is unavailable so it’s not in stock for now.
    I prefer making my own following your instructions cause I am not a seller ….I make things for family and friends.
    This is great for holding earbuds that I can clip to my bag . Great stocking stuffers for my nieces and nephews , they can clip this to their jeans belt loop to hold earbuds , coins.
    Great video !!!

    Hello Christine. I only use my phone for calls, texting, and research on Google. I never use it for anything involving finances - so I need something to contain coins for parking meters. These are perfect. And I like to have a key fob of some sort - makes it so much easier to locate the keys when they slip to the bottom of a deep bag. Really simple, useful design. E❤

    • @ChristinesHomeAffairs
      @ChristinesHomeAffairs  12 дней назад

      They do look like ornaments Reba. They're too small for gift cards, but I did another vinyl card holder that would suit. ruclips.net/video/C97Lsg5FVAU/видео.htmlsi=Os-m1tVakYp9R30u

    • @ChristinesHomeAffairs
      @ChristinesHomeAffairs  13 дней назад +1

      Yes they are plastic snaps, though you could use metal too. I don't have a name for the tool. It came with the snaps😀

    Did you use heavier thread or basic sewing thread? Are the holes in the Amazon template used for blanket stitch around the outside edges?

    • @ChristinesHomeAffairs
      @ChristinesHomeAffairs  16 дней назад +1

      Nancy, I think the holes are for those that use heavier leather and hand stitch. I imagine you could use them for blanket stitch as well. I use regular sewing thread for mine😀

    Could you use cork fabric

    • @perfectseams
      @perfectseams 16 дней назад +1

      That’s exactly what I was thinking. Don’t see why not. As long as the fabric was supple enough to fold.

      I've never sewn with cork Janine, but it's such a small piece of fabric, I'd give it a go😊
