I love browsing around in shops like you have. There is always something there that you "need", or a memory you forgot about. And I'll bet the soaps smell divinely! And thank you for the tour of your lovely little town.
What a wonderful little town. It reminds me of the town where we vacationed at. There were 2 roads in town. We chose this resort because it was family friendly, meaning our little ones were welcome. Not all resorts are quite so accepting of little ones. A picture of my girls was next to the description of the resort! The two older girls, each 4 years old, and the youngest, in her diaper, were outside our cabin holding up their catch of the day. They were quite proud of their fish. They could bait their hooks, cast, catch and land their fish, and usually get the hook out, and sitting in the boat. The resort owners loved them running all over, and visiting each evening for their treats, if they had a good day. There were towns this size scattered around the area, most geared towards tourism. 😊❤

Oh my goodness, how it has changed since i was a kid. We as a family had our caravan there for many years, travel there every weekend and school holidays, where the new slides and and water park area is used to be the caravan park and a metal slide with a little pier on either side. We as kids used to swim across it and burn our bums on the metal slide….i used to get up early and go fishing by myself….and then sometimes us kids would walk into town and get ice creams….we actually found our house in Murchison from one of the real estate agents in town…oh you have bought back so many wonderful childhood memories of this beautiful town of Nagambie….thank you xxx
That's so wonderful Tracey. Unfortunately the caravan park was decimated in the floods back in October. It is having a full rebuild and won't be in operation until mid year😀

What an awesome shop! This is exactly the place my hubby and I would both love to visit. It's the only kind of place we would ever come out of retirement to work at, so I'm lucky there isn't one as perfect as this near me. Every time we are out and about we shop and hubby comes home with interesting tools for his collection which he then refurbishes and enjoys. He also picks up ewaste and does his best to repair and then we donate. I'm a messy sewer too, so my space would look a lot like yours but with a less useful sewing machine! I would love to go shopping in your shop. It looks so interesting. The fabric and book areas would draw me over. Your store and the little town looks like they are kept very clean and in good repair. The lake is beautiful. It looks like a nice place to visit and live. Very nice.

Looks like a lovely town - you have traffic lights!!! Big smoke. We have to travel over an hour to get to a town with traffic lights - Bathurst. I LOVE living in the bush.
