  • Hi,
You must be knowing aspects presented in video before going for Embedded or VLSI Jobs based on my experience in VLSI or Semiconductor industry. It is exactly opposite to typical image of government jobs that is being written in the minds of Indians.

Brother you are demotivating directly to the students who are thinking for vlsi in future

    • @Singh-Rajveer
      @Singh-Rajveer  10 месяцев назад +18

      Hi Payal,
Would like to further clarify on this part based on my own experiences, learnings in this field:
      This is not demotivation.
Someone who just chose this field out of hype, or just for money and is not really passionate about electronics will regret later.
So, This is just an information to choose VLSI if you really enjoy reading, working and spending time with electronics.
Even if someone don't like, but can do hard work somehow , can get selected but the thing is.....he will just force himself and will regret daily after getting a job.
So, It's always recommend from my side to choose career out of interest and not out of hype / money only.
If someone thinks that money can overcome all those things and he can manage without interest then also he is welcome.
So A request to everyone to take this as information that how actually this industry works, think about your goals and what would give you happiness > Decide.
      Because,
I feel money and happiness both are required for the life so do make tradeoffs accordingly.

What he said is correct.... Just choosing mtech in vlsi for the sake of iitian or placement will surely ruin your life... In analog domain you need to be master of that, daily learning, reading lots of stuff... Learning is never ending process in vlsi.... If you think getting a job and then just simply sitting in front of lap then this field is not for such persons

I am from VLSI industry and whatever he says is true. Real work-life is different from what we learn in books and courses. Just remember, whatever field you choose, at some point you should be honed with skills and expertise to do Industry grade projects indigenously without seeking anyone's help in. If you can't, I am sorry to say you lack passion in that field and better move on to some other. It's not only for VLSI but software as well otherwise you'll not be recession-proof.

Hi, I am getting an offer to study masters in Embedded Systems in a very reputed college in India. I completed my Bachelors in IT. Should I go for it ? I am interested in low-level coding(C,Assembly..). Keeping that in mind, would you suggest going for a software based embedded job ? The programme I have been allotted is tilted more towards hardware and only BTech peeps in ECE/EEE take that course but after connecting with few of the students on LinkedIn, they said that I can choose electives which are more software oriented and prepare for a software based role because most of the students there want hardware based placement so competition will be slightly less for software position. From what I can sense even for firmware role, good understanding in hardware is required, but the students said that if I put in extra effort then it won't be difficult to cope with the course. Please give suggestions.

Already done this in my Roadmap video. You will find links for free NPTEL / Individual creator courses in the description of that video.
It can be done freely. Just complete those courses, practice verilog and do projects.

We can't judge the audience without actually knowing them, maybe they also like it & This is also one of the learning from movie that don't judge before you actually know something / someone.
I liked this movie very much, especially when he chose a negative path to prove his point at the end and climax bgm was just very much good.
This video also contains a positive and negative side while making decisions for career so found this BGM perfect to be used !!
