1-3% gains in performance, not 5%. And the regular 4080 is cheaper
Do you guys do trade ins ?
I'd rather pick the 7900xtx I don't give a shit about ray tracing it's not that appealing to me Nvidia started the ray tracing trend just to gain more market share imo
on paper you see the price being two hundred dollars cheaper than the regular 4080 and think "cool".... except, the original 4080 was around 400 dollars overpriced which means this super with near identical performance is still around 200 dollars overpriced...
as someone who already has a 4080 it is absolutely not worth it, the 4080S is still 200USD overpriced AND the performance uplift is actually 3%-5% so for anybody looking for a new high end GPU and dont have one yet, sure, it might be worth it with a price still around 200USD higher than it should be, but what choice do you have than the inferior AMD that only slightly wins in rasterization and loses in all other ways.
verdict: still overpriced, performance is nearly identical to base model, only worth it if you dont have a 40 series yet
No one fools you ;)
It is now on the same price as the normal 4080
I got the Rtx 4070 TI super. I hope it wasn’t a bad decision.
It is a better value card for sure. About 10~15% less performance, but 20~25% less in price so.. in most situations its not even 10fps diffrence
I have the 4070ti baby!
W Pcs!!
Your vlog is very good. Do you know where to Buy RTX 4080 Super in Kuwait? - GCC Gamers
What cpu is best for the rtx 4080 super
i7 14700KF
Thanks

⬆️
4080 supper better than 7900xtx?
Worth it over 4070?
I don't see why it wouldn't be a popular option. Broke people 🤡
Fr it’s actually one of the better price to performance cards out there
More like 1-3% and it's priced where it should have been priced in the first place. Nvidia tryin to be slick.
meanwhile me : Im broke with a 960 ;-;
Could you recommend an 800 or less laptop? It doesnt need much performance and just needs to run basic apps with around 8gb of ram and 512-1tb of storage
Asus vivobook🔥
The only point of the 4080 super is to bring down the price of 4080. Now buy the cheaper 4080 instead.
This is why i always wait because the poor fools who got the 3090 ti for only the 40 seriese to drop after then when the 4080 dropped the other fools got it only for the 4080 super to drop same with the 4070 then 4070 ti THEN the 4070 ti super, they stay milking it because people can't wait
should I get a build with a 4080 super right now or wait for the 50?
Your choice if you got enough to wait then OK if not then buy 4080
That's a Lian Li Case Right ?
When you play in vr at a simrig, you need every % you could get.
need help so basically im trying to put my 2070 into my pc swapping for a 4080 dont ask why. the 4080 uses a 12 pin while my 2070 uses a 8 pin. i cant get into my psu it has preinstalled cables. how do i do it😅
I wont ask! Haha
Is selling the non modular psu to buy a modular psu doable? Not familiar with the 2070, but does the VGA cable hook directly into the 2070 with an 8 pin? The 4080 I have uses the 8 pin vga to branch into that 3 cable splitter to the 12 pin.
The main pin style I see for the 2070 is one 8 pin and one 6 pin. If your cables are 6+2 you should be able to split them to fit the 6 pin, if there is one and hook the other directly in?
@@subis_n_metal8149 i am mot that great at pc building yet. I know the basics but not the cables so i cant sell the one i have and get a different one. maybe the 2nd one i will surely try!
@@Fazhole I got ya, I've been there too man! Haha. But if your cables allow it, maybe try that. Almost sounds like the VGA should hook directly up? I know the 4080 kinda confused the hell out of me at first with the 3 branch split and I'd never seen that on an older gpu
@@subis_n_metal8149 im not gonna try anymore cuz im getting a 4080 super i just sold my 4080
@@subis_n_metal8149hey! I found the problem. I saw a 6pin connector and thought it was only 6 pins. There was a sxtra 2 pin connector. thanks for the help tho
did the gentleman in the video use to work as a mime?
I went for 7900XT instead at 400 bucks less^^ And, yes, i do not give a crap about raytracing ;)
What's the case?
lmao i was thinking the same thing, seems smooth brain af not to list parts in the vid. Deff wouldnt buy a comp from these guys with such a massive oversight
Should i buy the 4080 super? ( I Got the 4060 Ti now)
4080 or 4080 SUPER whatever is cheaper... performance is pretty much same (max 1-2 fps gain with SUPER)... i just bought 4080 much cheaper than super version
Case name ?
Thermal paste?
