Luyu Dumplings is right next to my house. I love their dumplings so much that I walk there to buy their frozen dumpling twice a week lol

All of these places are cheaper than the fastfood chains. No wonder the chains are closing down. You get a much better, larger and often, healthier meal for cheaper. Good going!
When Michelin star’s original started it was all about the tasty food and not about how pricey etc it was. These are bib gourmand which is extremely tasty food for decent prices not exactly a Michelin star but some of the best food for the price.

Some people are commenting on the pinkish color of the chicken. The color of the meat isn’t always an indicator of it being raw or undercooked. The types of chicken used as well as the marinades can keep that color on the pinkish side. You can choose to not eat there but to call it undercooked is false. It’s the same with smoked meats. Also this is a Michelin star food video. They’re not getting their star because they’re consistently serving undercooked food. On a side note I love La Azteca and their Chile Relleno Burrito is the best.
yes! At my work (i waitress at an elderly home) the chicken is sometimes the tiniest bit pink and it’s not cause it’s undercooked! If that was the reason, all the 75+ elderly people eating it would be very sick

To be fair with "under $10," most are for an item like a taco which won't fill you up like a full meal. That said, even if you got three tacos for example, it's under $20 which is still a solid deal for top quality food. The other places don't break you bank either, but you're likely paying closer to $20 for an entire meal over just one thing like a couple pieces of chicken.

It's not that cheap, but the quality is high. I have a place near me that has cheap food, it's called Wonderdog, it is in East Peoria Illinois and they are known for their $3.29 chili dogs. But they also have a daily $8.00 special, on Tuesday it's the Tenderloin. You get an 8 inch round Tenderloin, fries or tots, and a drink for $8.00, now that is a deal, and it's pretty good too.

@@pandersonnike When I want Tacos I just make them myself, for about 50 cents each, so 2 for a dollar. And they are the way I like them, with a lot of meat, a lot of cheese, a lot of tomatoes, and just a little lettuce, with my favorite Taco sauce, Ortega hot Taco sauce.

the video was going well until the $5 taco as in singular.
At the 2nd stop where they did the Roasted Chicken. You are supposed to mix the green and the yellow sauces they have together for an added flavor that just takes everything to the next level.

$13 FOR TWO TACOS?? That's not cost effective from a taco standpoint. Nor from a seafood standpoint! Not in L.A. anyway. Do you know the quantity of delicious ceviche you can in L.A. for that price? instead of one tiny piece in a small taco like tthat??? Ugh.

You can find a taco place that is more cost effective, that's not an argument here. However, that's not even what's the video is about. Mike has done videos of taco in LA that's more cost effective, so you can watch those videos if you want.

Undercooked chicken doesn't work the same way as steak where pink = bad. If the chicken is still translucent, then it's undercooked.
The pink look is due to the hemoglobin in the meat tissues chemically interacting with oven heat, casuing theat pink tinge.

Not trying to start a fight (ok maybe I am 😂) but Korean ZzaJaMyun > Chinese ZzaZaMien (yeah yeah it’s originally Chinese)….I’m not the only one….all of my Chinese friends prefer the Korean version including Chinese-American foodies such as Inga Lam and Jon Kung.
Chinese is Zhajiangmian. Korean can also be spelled as Jajangmyeon. Preparations are quite different. The bean paste in the Korean preparation is savory and slightly sweet, making it more unctuous.
