One of my best friends is from Hawaii, she said one of the biggest disappointments when she came to the mainland for college was how shit our 7/11’s are.

Just got back from Hawaii and hit 7-11 twice because of the great food you can get.
When my brother graduated from the military language school, my mom and I were able to go and spend time with him in Hawaii. I’ve always wanted to go back. Now I know to check out 7-11 while I’m there.

Man, I just moved to New Mexico from Alaska, little known fact, there is a huge Islanders population in Anchorage, but there are a couple of Hawaiian, Filipino, and Samoi restaurants that I miss so much.

Other than the asian 7-11 stores. I think Hawaii 7-11 is the best ❤. Also, i recommended getting the boiled peanuts from foodland. Those and the soybeans are bomb!!!

I love boiled peanuts, I just don't get the spicy kinda. Typically around here they use a tomato base in their spicy boiled peanuts.

I've been to Hawaii 3x. We went to ABC stores on every island. I don't think they had 7-11 stores back then. Last time I went was 2000 I think.
ABC are only in tourist areas. The rest of Hawaii has 7-11

Yeah 7Eleven here in Hawaii has improved over the years. Before all they had was the usual. Hot dog, burgers, chili, chili nachos, nachos, pizza and that was it. But now they have been improving the selection here. Like the pasta bento, some months ago they had a ube pasta one. The pasta was made from ube. I didn't get to try it though. They also had these healthy multi grain artisan sandwiches but I guess the price was a bit high and it wasn't as popular but they were super ono. They like to have local items like the Shaka teas, not sure who really likes them but IMO the shaka teas are kind gross. I think they over did it when mixing things into it. Oh that fruit sandwich is technically only half a sandwich, buy two of those and you get a full sandwich. just saying....

the loco moco is pretty decent. just don't like the over cooked egg, i like mines runny. the fried rice loco moco version is just decadent. just a ton of flavor. 7-11 Hawaii is still the best outside of Japan and Asia. Went to one on WA months ago and was greatly disappointed. my friends who just move there from Hawaii said yeah our 7-11 up here sucks compared back home. i was so sad for them. lol
