    Fun video. Thanks. I was there about a year ago June. Went south of the lighthouse which is the most peaceful, spacious and bug free area. My third night I also had to go inland to avoid a sudden big storm.

    I have spent many days on CALO on past fishing trips / camping trips. I had a 2000 Tundra that the windows were permanently etched from the wind blown sand riding out storms during our trips.

      This was during late march, little to no bugs out on the island!

    I wonder if a Subaru Crosstrek would make it if I aired down. I have a tire compressor to air back up…

      It probably would, when I was there is 2022 there was a Subaru outback out there. It had a small lift and slightly bigger tires than stock but it never got stuck.
