I have the compact enclosed. I love it!! Ive been extremely impressed with battery life. Love being able to co-witness with standard sights. Also, not having to re-zero after changing the battery. Which i haven't had to change yet.
Great test. I just purchased the Romeo compact fully enclosed. Wish my luck was better. Couldn’t zero the optic and when shooting in 49 degrees in the rain, the ‘sealed optic’ fogged up and had water drops on the inside of the optic. I sent pictures to Sig. Their return policy, which I understand, is if it’s been used, you can’t return it; however, they offer life time warranty. I sent it to them and they told me up to six weeks for a repair and possibly longer if it needs to be replaced.
Thanks for watching. Sorry that you are having issues with your optic. Sig has always been good on their warrenty issues and many times they just send you a new unit after. Keep us posted on the replacement.
Another great review Jeremy, I had the pleasure of meeting you in person at D5 and we talked about this very subject I l love that you really beat the piss outta that thing can't get more honest of a review than that!
Sadly, my only experience with the Romeo X Pro is that the red dot stopped working just after 600 rds. of 10mm from my XTEN in one range session. Sig did replace it, and time to try that. Having said that, I did order the Romeo X Pro Enclosed for my EDC XTEN Comp. I really do want this optic to work! For close in, dynamic shooting, I use irons. For distance shooting from about 40 yds out to 100+ yds., the dot shines.
That's a tough comparison! We use the 507k and 507c on a lot of our pews. You cant go wrong with either the Romeo-X or the 507, but I do think the Romeo-X inches for the WIN. Thanks for watching!!!!!
Bro, C'mon ! That was the weakest test I've ever seen anybody do on an optic. What about dropping it out of an airplane from 10,000 ft, or throwing it into a pool of liquid hot magma ??? LOL ! DAAAAAMN ! I just bought this optic about a month ago and your video made me so happy that I made this purchase. I was rollin when you broke out the old cinder block test. ✌️
Great, now you gave me all sorts of good ideas! LOL Now I need a plane and a volcano. If an optic cant handle the tests, we probably cant count on it for EDC. Congrats on the new optic. Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe!
Got mine litterally yesterday brand new from sig opened it an but battery in an didnt work so had to send it back smh. Reason why I bought that one from sig bc my romeozero all of a sudden stopped working after 4 months of having it for my ccw so it wasn't abused liked that. Lets see ima give sig one more chance on the one they are sending me next if I have any problems woth it im goin to holosun or something else. I like the way sig optics look an hear alot of good things about them but I just haven't had good luck an for a edc I need something that works idk how people can be die hard fans tho with them. Optic wise
I am really sorry to hear you are having issues with your optic. We had nothing but good luck with ours but that doesnt mean that those things dont happen. Hopefully the new one works out for you. The other options you mentioned are also great optics. keep up posted!
I have both the pro and compact. The like both, the pro is great. The compact I have is the second one. The first compact I had the window smudged or scratched so bad and I couldn’t clean it. Sent it back to Sig and they replaced it. The second one has done the same thing. I still use it it’s just distracting sometimes.
Sorry you have been experiencing issues with your glass. What and how are you cleaning the lenses? Wondering if you are using an optic lens cleaning solution or type of cleaning rag? I can try and see if I can replicate your issues. Glad to hear you like your optic other then that. Thank you much for watching and commenting.
@@d5rangesmarengo I’ve used Q-tips with alcohol and different glass cleaners. I mostly use the glass cloths I get with the optic or my eyeglasses. Like I said I like the optic. If I stay target focused it doesn’t affect my shot.

I'm probably not going to do any of that stuff with this optic, but its nice to know I can.

It was great to meet you at the shop, stop in anytime to chat! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Great test! You are really pushing me in that direction over the Holosun EPS
Both of those optics are a great choice. The Sig is definitely an amazing optic. Thanks for checking out the video.
I love mine. Haven't had issues with it. Great vid man. Keep it going
Glad you enjoy that optic and enjoy the video!
I use a torx bit to make adjustments able to feel the clicks much better than the torx wrench Sig supplies
Thanks for the tip! Makes total sense. Thanks for watching and commenting.

thanks for the video! how would you compare it to the 507k? thinking about buying one but not sure between those two

Thanks for doing this video really helpful
Glad that you found the video helpful, and thank you for checking it out.
I get it, it's a tool but not a hammer.
But what if you had no hammer around?

Is this the Romeo-X Enclosed (argon purged) model?
In this video it is the Open Emitter version. Hoping to get my hand on the Closed version soon to also test for you. Thanks for watching.
Just bought one for my Glock 48 mos I hope it is a sold choice
Congrats, we found it to be a solid choice for sure. Let us know what your thoughts are once you start running it. Thanks for watching!

I LOVE you videos/commercials!!! Keep it up! (p.s. I'm not so sure I want to buy a used gun from you guys. 8-) Holy shit!)
Thank you very much!!! Don't worry, I don't use the used guns we sell....yet! Kidding.
Just bought one mounted it and doesn’t work. $500
Probably should check zero at like 15-25. Not sure exactly how far you were from the video.
What firearm is that?
Sig P320 X Carry Spectre Black
Good test. Confirming I made a good purchase.
I really wish both models had the fiber in the back.
You did make a good purchase. I also do wish the pro included the fiber rear, but I can also live without it.
