I am a Brahmin by birth but I won't sit in the line which you are saying. The one who sits should be able to chant Mantras/prayers for half an hour. Before that they won't touch food. Any one who has the patience and believes in this ritual can sit otherwise we should not disturb them. It happens with all religions when prayer is going on nobody will interfere.
