Honestly i feel bad for Squirrel the most, having to lie to Bramble to help Leafpool..though, I feel bad for Leaf for having to give her kits up. 😢
Honestly StarClan screwed them both over. They promised they would help Leafpool if she had kits, then punished her and ridiculed her. And they pressured Squirrelflight until she felt like she had no other choice than to take the kits, even though she didn't want to. Then when they got called out for it StarClan just let them take all the blame and watched as they had their lives ruined.

I love that one of the three trails of tiny paw marks are bloody at the end...poor Hollyleaf she was doomed from the start
This is why leafpools love story is one of my favorites, the ups, the downs, the unknown of how people will react when they find out,
I feel so bad for squirrel flight, being lied to (about not being able to have kits of her own) and being dragged into something that she would be in deep trouble for if others found out, but doing it anyway for her sisters sake,
This video was amazing! And it deserves so much more!!

What I don’t understand is why squirrelflight and leafpool didn’t just let brambleclaw in on the secret, I think he would’ve understood maybe
It's always something I also wondered about, probably to add more dramaaa brrrr, but it would be SURE interesting to see what would have happened if Brambleclaw was involved in the secret
I mean, I understand why Leafpool didn’t want to tell him. She saw him training in hell with his father who wanted to execute half-Clan cats, not to mention he was consistently cruel to her throughout TNP. He didn’t deserve to know about Leafpool’s kids.
