Still watching, but I have to say that this channel has become an instant play + like + save for me. So much knowledge and so many amazing tips. Thank you for making these! Love being able to take new cues and good theory with me whenever I hop on the bike.

@wheelmindedivan6182 I fully agree, before I even finish the video I have clicked "like". Thank you Eric Woods, you're a force for helping to make better riders.

HOLUP!!!!! Imma type that up so it sticks with me... If your minimal speed through a corner is above your threshold of traction speed, you should take a roll-speed focus line, and not square it off... You just changed how I'm going to approach two corners at Jarama, one leads to a tight double corner and the other is downhill into the straight away....

absolutely loving the content on the channel, i've been searching for technical "how to" track focused videos, and so far this has been exactly that.

this just tied together so many concepts i thought i understood. I've been riding for about 8 years on the road now, trying to get back into racing as well. I think i've found the best foundational channel I'll ever discover on this platform. I wish I could take your course in person

I was at COTA on my Ninja 400 a few months back, going back in September. my instructors first did not know I was on a 400 so I forgive them, but their advice really only applied to bigger bikes. So glad you address what I was feeling but couldn't explain!

Great content! A lot of “mysteries” explained.

Class act. Awesome as always, Eric. I talk to my students about there not being "a line" and about trajectory all of the time. I'll share this video with them. Airplane joke...nice; like over a cliff with a tail wind!

I would appreciate if you could make a video indicating & analysing characteristic crashes from races so that all these mistakes that lead to them to be fully understood by these examples, congratulations for your effort, very helpful videos

Great start into the video already. I never liked the word apex as it suggested this is the apex of the trajectory.
But it's only close to that in a perfect 90° corner.
On the same note "closing radius" etc are confusing terms as they are only closing on you if you choose the wrong line.

Very good lessons here, just one constructive feedback from my side, please don't use 3 different words/ group of words when reffering to the same thing, for example: "exit speed focus= drive focus = square the corner". Or other example about a confusing quote : "bike is able to spin the tire", the tire is spining, that is the role of a tire, tire slips would be better to use. I totally get it but the words you are using are sometimes in contradiction and might be very hard understandable for the audience. Anyhow, extremely valuable info on your channel. All the best!

If I’m not maximizing my corner speed the bike wants to wheelie all over the place. Feels fast until you check the lap time.
    Faster is less dramatic.

I always focus on precision. When I’m precise I’m both fast and don’t feel out of control.
