I think people get mixed up with counter steering , steering with the back wheel spin coming out of a corner or banging down gears and fast down changers making the back wheel float to the outside of the track , all separate things
You hit a deer on the track? I saw that happen at Road Atlanta in the turn 4 else's area...they have taken steps to try to discourage Bambi but still an issue
Great Instructions. I did my first track day and the Instructors were mostly rude Jerks. They wanted me to ride the whole track excluding a long straight. I ran My MT-07 in third gear and was still hitting the Rev Limiter. Hello, and MT-07 has a much lower RPM range than a 4 cylinder track bike has. They wanted to ride with no brakes just coasting around the track .. OK no problem with that. Then they wanted to use only the front brake? Hello , I have always used both brakes. They said I would do a loop on my bike with a locked up rear wheel? Hello I just let off the rear brake if that starts to happen. I rode dirt bikes for years and races Slalom and competed in Moguls Competition on snow skis. Much Ski racing can be transferred to a motorcycle. Then I hit a Deer and have not yet fixed the bent up fork tubes ect yet so have not been back to the track.
Alot of that stuff daint transfer over to bikes , when u go fast into a corner and hit the front brake the bike pitches forward taking weight off the back making it very easy to lock the back wheel and sometimes it happens that fast u won't have time to release the back brake but ull learn
@@gregsmith9470rear brake is "distraction"..not good for stopping...has value for wheelie control..low speed manuvering..controlling wheels pin corner exit..planting front wheel... Problem is compromising concentration to try to tap arguably 5% potential...is ludicrous! When people lock rear brake they tend to release BOTH brakes! You can win championships front brake only! Can't win shit rear brake only! Must load correct thing in your subconcious! When brain screams "TRUCK‼️‼️‼️" you WILL do what ever you normally do! Must have right stuff loaded into sub concious!!

+1 on bag-4-life, best moto luggage going. Make sure they're all matching from same supermarket, full factory. Never mix Waitrose and Morrisons.
❤🎉 Awesome instruction , I loved that. I now know why I do why I do what I do 😅😊
Never been refused on track with different helmet straps but ACU gold is mandatory (in uk at least) as are back protectors. 👍
Same here, forgot my break leaver guard once and got two sessions in before anyone noticed including myself, left it at home😫
Thank you Very much Taylor!!! Can’t wait to try next season
Thank you Ale!! Let me know if you have any further questions 🤓
