I’m 26 and I’m loving it too!! My mom has always kept this type of music in my ears along with whatever else I listen to. I always get into it when they perform this song at their concerts
I’ve heard recordings of Hall & Oates performing this live - going back to the mid 70’s. I’ve never heard them include the key change that’s on the record. In other words, this performance is a better reproduction of the record than I’ve ever heard live from Daryl & John.
They really capture the look and sound ( that sax solo) of 1979 without turning it into an over the top caricature. Love it _ from a class of '79 graduate !
I saw these guys perform this song in Birmingham just a couple of weeks ago, and it was KILLER! They are unreal. The guitarist and saxophonist blew my mind. What a band!
great job on the sax!! great job on this favorite of mine. This is a hard song to replicate the different parts of this song and that was one hell of a great job on it!!!!!!
Agreed... Former prof alto saxophonist... Really agree with the difficulty to cover this and do it justice. I do think he didn’t trust his voice as much as he could’ve when finishing phrases! 98/100
Wathed them perform in Atlantic City HardRock April 2024, was hoping they would do this song they didn't, but it was still a awesome show 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
There are so many moving parts to this song with that many people participating. It would be so eady for one of them to hit a wrong note or miss their mark and the whole thing would sound terrible. Fortunately, that didnt happen and they pulled off a nesr perfect performance of this great, albeit dufficult song. They knocked it out of the park, over the parking lot and inti the bext county! So well done! Ive watched this a dozen times the past few days.
This video deserves a lot more that 88k views! This is totally awesome......
This song has become my motto now that I'm over 50. Love it!

Bass player switched guitars for 2 seconds at 4:15 .
Wow, like when CCC dropped Pretty Lady on YT. Looking FWD to to seeing them tomorrow night with Tain and REO Speedwagon
Did your band break up? I never see any of you anymore on Facebook.

Eudora Highway
Brooks Turnpike
Jesus ,Darryl would be turning in his grave...........if he were dead that is
It wasn't that bad lol. Obviously the guy doesn't have the pipes of Daryl, but he sounded pretty damn good.
That drummer is not smooth enough I demand you guys find a much more smoother drummer
Perhaps Pete Best?
A couple of real soulful vocalists away from being decent.
What in gods name is this crap ?
