What are your thoughts on miles cards vs cashback cards? Assumption of course that the person will actually use the miles once a year or so! My understanding has always been that miles gives back more value as a % of spend amount in exchange for only being able to redeem for travels (and all the ridiculous hoops to jump through...) while cashback cards are more universally attractive for the hard cash but has lesser reward %.
You can call them to request for a fee waiver! Usually if you spend enough money, they'll waive for you. I've used credit cards for over 10 years now, never had to pay any annual fee before

hi kelvin, may i ask what are your thoughts about the ocbc 365 card? was hoping for you to bring it up in the video
Tks, Kelvin. Very helpful information.
Miles cards actually have lesser hoops than cashback, eg no spend requirement. But need to remember which card accepted at which merchant
Thanks for the great information, Kelvin
Can do one video about DBS digi portfolio? Is it worth it?
Cimb VI, CIMB Worldcard, Amex TCB not in.
Oh Citi cashback gives cashback for car rental overseas? Ride hailing includes that? Thanks!
Ah, i made a mistake. It only covers ride hailing, not car rental
@@KelvinLearnsInvesting ahh ok thanks!! 🙏🏻
What happens after the 1 year fee waiver? Do you terminate the cards? 😝

What about OCBC INFINITY Cashback Card ? Did you miss that out?
Its 1.6% cashback is nothing special.
