@@GamePathIt isn't because we are getting old. Morrowind wasn't made by bankers, burned-out devs, and v-caps (though many would become those things in time). It was made by passionate developers with degrees in the various subjects required to build an authentic and internally consistent world. Theology, Economics, History, Philosophy. ALL of these fields were employed by the creative team. Slavery, nativism, imperialism, racism born from deep historical interactions, theological and metaphysical interactions that birth entire civilizations (and later send them into precipitous decline). Morrowind's team was not afraid of offending terminally online humans; they weren't afraid of deviating from proscribed focus group data. They made a world that was unapologetically problematic, flawed, cultured, and unique. It understood the mortal condition with a sense of compassion that neither forgave nor punished transgression. The player was the consequence to all of those actions. The crack of the Dren wip, the hubris of Vivec, the sniffling orthodoxy of The Tribunal Temple, the meglomania of the 6th House. Morrowind was the story of a world at a very special place and time. It isn't about you, the player. You are an instrument of history, of destiny clad in humble flesh. You are there to experience, to bear witness, to act to a world that existed before your character was born, and will endure long after their passing. There is a humbling power to Morrowind (for those who paid attention). It's not a fucking theme park where you are the birthday boy. It's a world. It's a world that you get to experience. It will be many years until we see Morrowind's like again.

I thought, wow that is some super deep lore that they took very seriously, & that is awesome.
That's what made Morrowind so special, there's was so much attention to detail throughout the game that it created this amazing depth in the lore and story. There really was no other game like it at the time when it came out. What a memory.

Been waiting for a Morrowind lofi for a long time. Thank you for this 💯
Been waiting for you, for a long time. You're welcome!
I am quite struck by the art. Navigating past the ghost fence with Mt. Ur looking like that would be terrifying! Plus all of the monsters and diseases, it would be just as bad as the Deadlands. Yet there's the Nerevarine, just chillin'. Love it!
Thanks Grace, that means a lot to me! I thought it would be good to have the Neravarine chillin' while looking up at what he's about to take on.
this is not another lofi ep. very good. for a moment sounds like portishead i love it
Portishead - that's a blast from the past. They're a great band, glad to know there's moments that remind you of them. Thanks mate!
Amazing ! In love with this Lofi ! you are sir are a very underrated musician
@@darkknight4353 thanks mate. Very appreciated!
Knight's Charge.....at least 10x better than the original, and the original is at least ok for me. Easily the best out of all of these tracks I think. So peaceful.
Thanks mate. Yeah I remembered the song when I was going back through the Morrowind tracks but it was never a stand out. Somehow this turned in to my favourite song of the album too.
"Dagoth Ur welcomes you, Nerevar, my old friend. But to this place where destiny is made. Why have you come unprepared?"
This video is as beautiful as the Moon and the Stars! Have a nice trip, Outlander! ✨
And you, Muthsera.
Wow, this is fantastic! I'm going to be listening to this frequently for a very, very long time.
Thanks mate, very appreciated. I'll have the Oblivion album coming out in about a week from now.
Oblivion in lofi, as promised - ruclips.net/video/tbZFTAjeZpg/видео.html
Best lofi version of peaceful water by FAR
@@clementrdu thanks mate, such a beautiful tune so I had to do it justice. Check out my Oblivion In Lofi is you get a chance. It just released.
the best game ever made but lo-fi?
Yeah bro this is extremelly based stuff. thanks a lot
It was my pleasure doing it! This game was like no other.
Welp! This is my new favorite thing on the internet, may the nines bless you friend
Thanks Sera.
No way. No no no 😂 do you want me to die of nostalgia? 😂 Thank you 👍
I absolutely do, N'wah.
I love the 3:2 polyrhythm in the first beat, awesome stuff
@@AveCastGames I love reading comments like this. You're obviously musically inclined to pick that up! I find that using 3:2 is a good starting point for putting songs that are in 3/4 in to 4/4 or 12/8 feel.
@@samuelsheppardmusic It's really cool. I often see polyrhythms used as a gimmick to show off musical ability, but this one really fits in perfectly and gives such a laid back groove. Great work man, keep it up!
Greetings moon and star, what a sweet and intoxicating track :)
This is the greatest thing ever. Thank you
So glad you enjoyed it!
really good even for someone didnt play elder scroll game
Thanks mate!
Wonderfully done. Thank you, this will be my coding music for the foreseeable future :)
@@scozzard thanks very much. I'm about to release the Oblivion soundtrack in the next few days.
I really appreciate you making this, Morrowind is my childhood game and fave of all time so it means a lot being able to listen to these tracks reimagined in such an awesome way. Thank you!
I feel exactly the same way! It's amazing how much of a mark it's left on so many people.
You, sir, are an absolute chad. Keep up the good work. 👍
Only true Chads have the cobra king as their profile pic x
I would not have guessed that this could work this well. But it does - somehow.
Some songs stay almost the same, while others come though almost unrecognizable.
May the blessing of Vivek shine forever on your house stranger.
Perfect vibes for modding
Haven't even played the game and this is a banger
@@Lumi_Lama thanks mate! Very appreciated.
Go play it. Seriously the greatest game ever made.
Это наверное единственное что не хватало мне как фанату Морровинд. Я очень благодарен автору.
Three blessings, Muthsera! This is incredible! I didn't know that, but I missed your work and looked for it among game soundtracks and reworks.
Definitely be listening to this while I play it tomorrow
Thanks mate! Watch out for those cliff racers.
@@samuelsheppardmusic Meh I had forgotten about those :/
Well, I know what I'll listen to at work in the next weeks.
Thanks mate!
Liked this, it's super beautiful 💜
You're super beautiful!

My pleasure mate.

This is fantastic. And the ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Thanks mate, very appreciated.
