9 months on and still find myself coming back to this masterpiece. 😅
My Spotify top 5 this year was this entire album. I would listen to it over & over. Absolutely love it
@@katedistelcamp8375 thanks for letting me know, that's made my day! I hope you've had a chance to listen to the Oblivion in Lofi album also. Cheers!
@@samuelsheppardmusic I have!! Love it too but Morrowind has my heart. Sunrise of flutes made it onto my Spotify wrapped.
@@katedistelcamp8375 I'm the same to be honest. Played Morrowind when it first released, and it's had my heart ever since then! Glad you liked Sunrise of Flutes. That was a last minute inclusion as I originally couldn't figure out any arrangements for it so I was going to bin it. As I was doing the final mix for Oblivion, I randomly had an idea pop in to my head for Sunrise of Flutes so I scrambled it together in a day or two.
etcelent
I saw your Morrowind Lo-fi video pop up and honestly thought "I bet that's going to be the most generic bunch of beats placed over some midi of Nerevar Rising" Gave it a click anyway and I sure am glad I was wrong, you nailed the blend of genres wonderfully, all the instrumentation is on point. Absolute pleasure to listen to, and this Oblivion set is even better. Looking forward to hearing more of your work 👍 PS: Big props for the Korg M3,
@@Ryckhart thanks mate. I really enjoyed reading this comment, and the fact that you know what a Korg m3 is! It lives under my computer desk and some might say I love it just as much as my own child. It's also nice when effort is appreciated. It took a lot of time and love to get these arrangements sorted. Lots of reharmonising and trying to create something different from, as you say, just putting a beat over existing midi. Thanks legend.
Seen any elves? HAHAHAHAHAH!
Love your work. Nice to know we all felt something deep and soul touching hearing those wonderful sounds. Thank you for giving them new life and a new rebirth 🫴💐
Could you make this animation into a wallpaper for Wallpaper Engine?
Great music for a great game. I also love the image you used for the video. How did the image? And the one you use for the Oblivion music? They have been both uploaded at the same time you posted your music.
Is there an entire piano version of that nerevar rising reprize part?
Hi mate, I do have a recording of it, as that was recorded on an actual grand piano. I was considering releasing a piano version of these songs and I might yet. Need to finish the Skyrim in Lofi album first and then I'll get around to it.
Picked up Morrowind about a month ago, and I'm enjoying the game so far. Hearing this on the side is just as a great. 😀
@@ArgoDraconia really glad to hear all of that!
Gawd I am really itching for another playthrough, this playlist totally vibes with my addi- I mean, perfectly reasonable and normal desire to replay it for like the 6th time
@@AugmentedOwl love it. Deep down the addic... perfectly reasonable desire to play the game is what ties us all together.
The first game that felt like a place, the first time a game REALLY created wonder and awe. It always feels a little bit like home. Thank you for this little piece of home, may you walk on warm sands.
Wings of Kynareth is dope af. You did a really good job there.
Thanks mate. This song actually set the tone/sound for the album as I wanted to make it different from the Morrowind in Lofi album. Once I wrote this song the rest of the album came quite easily.
DAMN, Peaceful Waters hits so hard
where's my comments?
“Outlander.”
31:10 i'm gonna come
This guy who worked at it looks like a Gigachad, doesn't he?
12:15 i had a flashback from ori when i heard this piano, you're making my day
Why is the last 5 minutes just subtle clicks? sounds like my speaker is broken lol
@@GameTacoFTW sorry mate! A lot of people that watch these kinds of videos use them for sleep, so the static at the end is just part of that. I am thinking of cutting down the video to not include that though.
40:00 motivation 100
@@FLONEX1 I still remember that part of the game clearly. Genuinely felt like a life accomplishment.
@@samuelsheppardmusic i have respect for you, unfortunately... I didn't play morrowind, i only played the elder Scrolls 5
@@FLONEX1 I'm currently working on the Skyrim in Lofi album now. It should be out before the end of the year. In the meantime, check out Oblivion in Lofi on my channel - I just released it a few weeks ago.
@@samuelsheppardmusic yep, i do. Your works sounds well, keep going and seek the strength, rest will follow
Warm greetings, outlander.
i hate when i load playlist videos like this and the video just loops the same playlist twice. tryna listen to this music in the background with multiple videos queued, really annoying when i have to stop the work i was doing to come back to youtube and skip the rest of the video. just upload a 30 min video! stop trying to decieve people into thinking there's more music than there actually is!
@@juicedemon19 you live a hard life, my friend.
This shit could unite the ashlander tribes 🙏
@@poobloot3311 my one true goal.
Walk with virtue, outlander.
Playing Morrowind to this currently. Tamriel Rebuilt.
morrowind lofi mix | beats to fulfill prophecies/slay n'wahs to
I love the 3:2 polyrhythm in the first beat, awesome stuff
@@AveCastGames I love reading comments like this. You're obviously musically inclined to pick that up! I find that using 3:2 is a good starting point for putting songs that are in 3/4 in to 4/4 or 12/8 feel.
@@samuelsheppardmusic It's really cool. I often see polyrhythms used as a gimmick to show off musical ability, but this one really fits in perfectly and gives such a laid back groove. Great work man, keep it up!
The is fantastic. It's the default background music for my Dnd campaign, perfect level of chill and fantasy but still with a sense of adventure right around the corner. Absolutely love it!
I've found a couple of Oblivion lofi mixes, but I've gotta say this one may be the best one from a pure music and technical skill perspective. Even if I'm wrong and it's not objectively the best, subjectively, it absolutely is. Which is to say, it's at least my favorite. Auriel's Ascension in particular, that one started up, got going, and man. I couldn't even begin to articulate the emotion that hit me, but I get chills and a lump in my throat every time.
Thanks mate, that really means a lot. I put a lot of love and care in to these arrangements and mixes as I wanted to bring something slightly different to the music. It'd be simple enough to put a beat over the top of the existing tunes but I thought it'd be cool to give them a different vibe and reharmonise some things. And Auriel's Ascension was actually the first track I completed on this album. Kind of set the tone for the rest of the album in terms of sounds and vibe.
Listened to this playing Dread Delusion, felt right.
During the first one like 1-3 minutes I keep hearing a mix of Minecraft music and the song from Charly the unicorn. Star fishes love you . Sea horses. Love you
Sometimes I half expected one of those Dagoth Ur memes to come in between as a chill DJ like "Now on Tribe Unmourned radio, Peacefull waters, enjoy Nerevar" But seriously, amazing work!
@@ImperialKnowledge haha makes me wish I had thought of that before hand!! Thanks mate.
amazing morrowind song!
@@VhugilaterBlotuy thanks!
To whomever reads this, may your road lead to warm sands. 🙏🏼❤☀️
@@BanjoPixelSnack and you, Sera.
Well done, perfect background music for cleaning my apartment and just chilling out in general.
Glad you're enjoying it! Oblivion in Lofi just released on my channel also.
Knight's Charge.....at least 10x better than the original, and the original is at least ok for me. Easily the best out of all of these tracks I think. So peaceful.
Thanks mate. Yeah I remembered the song when I was going back through the Morrowind tracks but it was never a stand out. Somehow this turned in to my favourite song of the album too.
Three blessings, Muthsera! This is incredible! I didn't know that, but I missed your work and looked for it among game soundtracks and reworks.
this is so nice and dreamy. Definitely not for n'wahs.
this same video, but with sermons of the lessons of vivec typed on screen
I genuinely thought about doing that but the Nerevar reborn prophecy is what had the biggest impact on me all of those years ago.
@@samuelsheppardmusic understandable Literally one of the best power fantasy stories because it really makes you feel like you’re part of something as big as a prophecy
Dude i hope you working n skyrim version. I will be waiting it. Thank you bro for your work.
@@Ярославсушарник I sure am. Currently have a couple of tracks completed. It'll likely be another 4-6 weeks roughly (pending life).
Thanks.
Wow this is banging <3 So much chills, like Dagoth himself have spoken to me
I just used this to put my kids down for a nap. hehehe
I am so glad I found this
Теперь я слышал всё..
Lovely melody, sera.
Haven't even played the game and this is a banger
@@Lumi_Lama thanks mate! Very appreciated.
Go play it. Seriously the greatest game ever made.
If you have to travel by the 9 divine stay on the roads. Love everything about it keep these coming!
@@rafaelgarcia2913 thanks mate, very appreciated. Should have Skyrim in Lofi out in a couple of months.
I get the irony there in the instrument choice. We all played this game so much that its music is a broken vynil
Was wondering if i could use this in the background of my streams? I'm not a big streamer by any means but ill credit you wherever possible. Otherwise ill leave it be but this is awesome!
@@TheMsLadyRayne go for it! Happy so long as there's a credit (as you've said) and a link to the video somewhere? :)
@@samuelsheppardmusic no problem! for sure, I'll make sure I put your channel name aswell as the video link with it too. you have my word! <3 . thanks for making this masterpiece. Morrowind was my first ever elderscrolls game, it was something me and my dad bonded over.
@@TheMsLadyRayne no worries at all. I'll check out your channel. First Elder Scrolls game for me also. Absolute masterpiece and has such a special place in my heart, along with so many others - judging by the comments.
