I think it looks fine as it is. A fairing would ruin the looks. The headlight is stylish. The single offset clock suits it. It's the scrambler look. The engine sounds fantastic. I am considering selling my SCR950 [a bit heavy] and 390 Duke [a bit slow] and buying one of these [light enough, fast enough]. Useful video. Nick J
Thanks Nick, I think I was over critical in the video. I still think a slightly different headlight case would help but my preference is too retro 😂 As I was editing the looks in general grew on me. Thank for watching!
@@1990-t1j nice! My scrambler skills are very much untested (so probably rubbish 😂) but I love the look of the XT My Dad had 2 RD’s. I’ve never ridden one but really should get round to it one day!
Nice one, thx for the review👌 Also fits tall riders pretty well, I still find enough space for my knees and the seating position is alright but probably looks a bit more goofy :p
Thanks for watching. I wish I had a bit more time with it but only had about hour and a half. It was really funny getting back on my Bonneville after, felt like I was set on the floor. I can see why it would be comfortable for all sizes. Really reminded of my old SV
There is a dealership about 20 miles away, I will see if I can get there for a video sat on one. I think my sports bike owning days are probably behind me though
This just looks all wrong to me. The engine looks messy and the display is too small and it is rather high. The head lamp is ugly and the tank looks cheap and plasticky. I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't like it😂 Would be interested to see what you make of the Honda CL500.
Hey Lily! Hope you are well. I think you are pretty much spot on. It's a good bike but the looks don't fully work for me. That said the RD350 upgrade you can get looks great but adds extra onto the cost of course. I hadn't really looked at the CL500 but just took a look on Honda's website, looks good. Will see if I can get hold of one. How is your search going?
@@pintsizedbiker have decided on a Grom for my 125cc. They are light and low and when I tried one and slammed the brakes on, I could save it. Excellent for building confidence. Assuming I can afford to do my DAS and liking Scramblers, the CL500 is an affordable option.

@@pintsizedbiker Thanks for replying. I am a big Yamaha fan. My first one was in the '80s: an XT500.

How tall are you? I’m 6’6 and wondering if this would be a good bike for my height.
no.its not@@LiveAndLaughs
@@thodoris3790 any thoughts on bikes that are good for my height? It’s been hard. This one is one that shows up on a lot of “for tall riders” lists.
I want to see you do the Tenere .
I just googled it’s seat height 😂
What's the company in surry that do the mods?
Ta
Heya, they are called Velocity Moto
I'm about the same height and inseam as you. I'd love to get your take on the Kawasaki ZX-6R.

What is your inseam sir?
Good question, my jeans length is 28inches but that is from wait to hem I believe.
inseam is inside leg length@@pintsizedbiker
