Very interesting Video, the opening section sets the scene well. I believe the steam engine (and others of the line ??) are laying dumped, it would be good to repatriate it, certainly fit in well with the Welshpool & Llanfair fleet, be good to see it working on a British preserved railway especially as it bares a resemblance to the Campbelltown & Machrihanish locos.
Superb street and people scenes, makes this video more than just a train video, but gives a view on peoples lives. You can almost feel the humidity and heat, and sense the smells from these scenes.
Very strange place, interesting how some people live. Guess we are pretty spoiled in the west, kind of scary seeing kids hanging off a train. Thanks for posting.
Exceĺlent theme and photograhy. I rembemered paintings of great artist late shri Dinanath hebbar form one clip where 4/5 women are standig wearing colorful saries.Real rural life without instruments of high technology.Simple life sinchronised with nature.Hope there will no hunger, illness and crime. Is that steam engine is still working? Thanks blackthourn
maximum video Bihar, India kaa hae. Train toh Nepalkaa hi thaa ek jamaane mae par khataara banaadiya 😂😂 jaynagar walay bihaari vaai aur beheno nae. kitna khadedte ho vai ek hi to train thaa.
The Railway is called "The Nepal Railway. It runs from Jaynagar in India to the current terminus at Janakpur in Nepal. The locos and rolling stock are owned by Nepal. There are more details about Nepalese railways in my written introduction to this video further up this page.
+Anuj Luitel This is of Nepal. But very few ppl know about it.. because I think I was stopped and later reopened but now also runs... I think so... But down in the Terai is completely different scenerio. Nepalese rarely travel on it or its nill. The poor ppl from Bihar who can't afford the Bus use this....
+Rabins XP Bihar people have good roads and railways to travel. The condition of this particular railways shows the condition of Nepal .People of Bihar don't need your toy train.
Sangeet Jha And in most of the video Bihar is shown.. Haha... Best of Luck... Say me any proper (in the very sense) other places other then Patna.. Haha.. I've seen most if the places.. May be I've traveled more in your country than you. Nepal is 450% cleaner and greener except some Terrain regions. And now a days, even Delhi is Polluted but getting better now-a-days. I've seen myself (not including Old Delhi).. Don't argue with me I've told what I saw. Cool down Amigo! Sorry if I've hurt your sentiments.
+Rabins XP I can only smile at your response. Just check how many Km of railway is in Bihar .Also toy train is the property of Nepal Railways(Engine was gifted by India Govt) . Nepal is cleaner and greener due to natural factors. And you are saying except Terai . Is Terai part of Bihar or Nepal. To more information check the documentary of BBC on Nepal Railways. Facts will remain fact. And Thumbs up to clean and green Nepal.

Looks like Nepalese double-deck passenger cars only have air-conditioning on the top deck.

The steam loco is no longer working, dumped but possibly not cut up. The line itself is being converted to broad gauge.
