    I'm currently dealing with plantar fasciitis and I can't even walk at the same speed as I usually do, let alone run at top speed. At least, not without a tremendous amount of pain. I'm not a professional athlete but I'm not some out of shape slob either. If he's dealing with that then it can be a while before he's at 100%.

      He wont be 100 percent at all this season. Even if he goes on Ir wont be enough time to heal that foot

    I can’t remember the team and the rookie quarterback and for them it was a somewhat brutal for 3 or 4 games !!

    Can we fire Waldron at the bye if he hasn't made effective adjustments to protect Caleb and run the ball better?

    DJ has been getting hacked. They know the refs won't call them every time.
    CW as a rookie has such a good grasp of the offense and makes all the calls and checks is impressive. The last couple of guys weve had couldn't run the whole offense, make calls and checks etc.

    Odunze needs to start catching those contested catches they drafted him for. And for god sakes stop running DJ Moore straight up the field. He’s a quick hitter dependable hard to tackle creative ball handler that can get chunk YAC, he’s not going to take the top off a defense consistently unless someone is out of position. These guys should be perfect if we run routes to their strengths let them get open and let Caleb (try to) get them the ball. Waldron said he was going to run an offense to use our players strengths which is significant…. All I’ve seen so far is really bad Oline play, a QB running for his life, abysmal to no running game, and Waldron mixing in sub par talent that he’s more familiar with instead of using the best athletes on the team. The 2nd string TE has plays drawn up for him in the red zone and bubble screens out in space just for him and is out there almost every play instead of Kmet 😂😂… Herbert gets 2 carries in a game while Homer is out there getting a good amount of reps. I’d mix in those big tackles at Guard and see if they can handle a stunt or bull rush. Can’t get a lot worse in the middle rn.

    Waldron can't figure it out that Johnson can run power plays downhill. He won't kick plays outside. He'll run between the tackles and make people sorry they have to tackle him. Use him.

      When have you seen him do this in the NFL or college?

    • @markDwattssr
      @markDwattssr Час назад

      He didn’t start in college, played multiple positions, and didn’t flash the kind of ability or speed necessary to compete at a high level in the NFL from any film I’ve seen. And I’ve never seen him used as a workhorse to pound the rock and wear down a defense in the NFL. That’s a lot different than doing it in college, everyone is bigger, stronger, and faster and he’s too slow.

    Listen here I've played since I was 7 years old I have hurt my heel sucked it up but still very hard to play with when you're a wide receiver cuz that's what I was and I was a tail back and a punt returner and a kick returner and a cornerback that really hurts and it lingers in my opinion I'm pretty sure he'll probably get this week off as well so something you don't want to deal with!!!

      @@lugortube Yeah but I kind of agree with him 100% the franchise (50+ year Bears fan) but that 100% manifests as something like 40% OC, 40% oline, 10% Caleb 10% rest. I can't blame Caleb at 20% yet, not behind that line and crap calling and him being a 2nd week rookie. He's made some mistakes but they came in shit situations.
      I'm a bit concerned that Poles, as an ex-O-Line, may over estimate his ability in that arena. He seemed to be pleased with his choices there but they've not been good. It's a common failure that folks familiar with a specialty over estimate how easy it is and think they can plug anybody in there.

      @@james_robnett..... You guys do realize that it's the QBs job in the offense to set proper protections, read blitzes, and facilitate the run game..... That's part of "running" an NFL offense..... I'd say it's 40% Caleb because logically one wouldn't believe the entire line forgot how to play football since last season....
