First person to write on RUclips Channel! WayBackUSA: I do love the other Charles Wright and The 103 Watts Rhythm Band called Express Yourself! The song came out the year I was born in 1970! What a classic song to listen to for sure period and that's that!

1970 was my Vietnam year. American Forces Radio AFVN (as in Good Morning Vietnam) played all these songs. "Come Saturday Morning" and "Ride Captain Ride" were played a lot.

Mary Hopkins had hits with “Goodbye” (written and produced by Paul McCartney), and “Those We’re The Days” (Produced by Paul McCartney)

Both of which are also mostly forgotten and preceded the record being touted on this often inaccurate channel. And were much bigger chart hits

Who knew Blues Image were so flaky! I bought the 45’s of Ride Captain Ride, Yellow River, Everything is Beautiful, Arizona, and Tighter, written by Tommy James, performed by Alive n’ Kicking. I graduated High School in 1970.

The Sterile Cuckoo was a PG rated movie. True it was a bit oddball but to say it is controversial for sexual content requires simply making it up.
