Springfield, MO. Swap Meet 2023! Ozark Empire Fair Grounds - Lots of Goodies and Friends, old & new!

Swap meets are always great. You never know what may show up to buy, but one thing is for sure, you will always see old friends and make new ones!!! That is one thing the internet will never replace!
As always, I found plenty to buy! The swap spaces were sold out this year. Set up day was kind of a mess, but that was not the fault of the event. They are building a huge new building at the fairgrounds and they would not let the vendors in at their scheduled time due to construction going on with the new building. It was king of a mess. Fortunately, when they did finally start letting people in, traffic flowed smoothly and everything went pretty well from there on.
I did buy a lot of stuff, but I did NOT buy big stuff this year after the snafu last year with the "parts hauling" service that is provided, or lack thereof. I still did well. I found a lot of good parts as well as some signs and toys for our collection!
We got see several old friends and made some new ones!! Some of these guys will probably look familiar from last years video and there are some news ones as well!!!! One great thing about the swap meet was that finally, after passing each other at multiple other swap meets, I finally caught up with Classic Ride Society!!!

The car corral was great, but I won’t tell my wife about the early mustangs I saw, or I will be bugged to death. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Anyhow Chad, you must of been pulling a wagon or a cart, because you could hear all the rattling of its contents. Did you grab the 1949 Lincoln taillights at 2:29? Those are always good sellers.
Hubcap Robert helped me ID a 1951 Lincoln wheel cover - plain design that I'd never seen before in my 38 years. He has an encyclopedic knowledge.
My car corral picks were the 1963 C10, 1970 Duster, and 1959 Oldsmobile.
The '57 Bel Air was nice too.
