It was interesting to watch this video as I was there today. I usually make 1 Pomona swap meet a year since I have moved to Arizona from Cali. A few years ago. I would usually not go during the summer months because of the heat. Now I remember why…. How soon we forget. Great video thanks

I actually like those mid eighties Olds Cutlass Supreme 2-doors…I worked at a car rental place during the time they were new and I enjoyed driving the couple we had.
I know that lacquer smell of old gas very well…I worked at a radiator/ac shop for many years and people would bring gas tanks in the be boiled or steam cleaned and it got to the point where the boss wouldn’t do it anymore….too nasty!

I would be nervous about going to Commiefornia with any modified car. Back in the mid-70's and 80's when I lived in South Orange County Commiefornia I got into a lot of trouble with the law over my hot rod muscle cars and lifted square body trucks. I got an "obstruction of vision" ticket for a tunnel ram in my 1970 SS Chevelle that landed me in county jail for 2-weeks. Then, I got lift law tickets for a 1977 square body truck that had only 6-inches of lift. That ticket got my license suspended. I went to court several times for those equipment tickets trying to explain to the judge that returning those vehicles to stock was too much trouble and expense. The judge did not care, and took me into custody. I have a 1988 Chevy square body crew cab with 12-inch lift, and 40" tires that I can drive around the state of Nevada all day, and not worry about it, but if I took that truck to Commiefornia the CHP would pull me over as soon as I crossed the state line.
