It's like these guys don't realize QBs have to play to their system and O coordinator. He's not pushing the ball downfield because Oregon wanted to run all year and throw screens because their receivers weren't that good. Put Herbert in the right system and he could be the best QB out of this draft.
Sean Bainbridge if you look at the PAC12 title game he showed what he should’ve been doing all season but also they had injuries at WR that also hurt them also he was barely allowed to run and he showcased his running ability against Wisconsin who’s always had solid defenses
He also didnt have a single NFL caliber receiver last year or this year... dillon mitchell is the only one that even made a team and he never played a game

It's hard to tell with these qbs, But him or Jalen I like the most. Tua has his injuries, burrow I am not sold on, easton same deal. Herbert has a track record, a great attitude and work ethic plus that hair.
@@miamidolphinsluciano Yeah I do. It's almost a college running back with over 4500 yards rushing vs a running back with one 1500 yard season deal. Tua was a better college qb no doubt but we are getting to the nfl. Tua has had a broken finger, a sprained knee, a quad injury, a ankle injury with surgery, another ankle injury with surgery, another ankle injury with surgery, a major hip injury (dislocated hip and fracture) all really in 2 years. Jalen is a little bigger 10 lbs one inch taller and more athletic with way less problems. Can tua stand up to the NFL? Is he the same qb? Without injuries yeah Tua better guy. Burrow I just don't know enough about and he kept getting buried behind people as well who weren't as good as Tua. So you kind of killed your own argument there.

Herbert is fun to watch. You never know what he will do. He spreads the ball all around. He can run past or over defenders. He makes a 50 yard pass look easy, and it's not.
Lots to like about Herbert. Every physical tool you can ask for and four solid years as a starter under his belt. Will need some time to grow and learn but besides Burrow he’s the best QB prospect in this draft. I hope a good org gets him.
I’m sorry but are you guys watching this? I don’t understand the hate. Every throw he made was on the money and those were deep hard throws to do. Excellent work out tape by Herbert. He did an excellent job of putting it out there for his man to go get it on the inside cuts. If I were a QB, I’d rather put it out there like he did rather than have it be too close to the chest then it bounces either incomplete or INT. That was good situational awareness on his part. And on the Go’s and Wheel’s, he did an excellent job of making those tight throws into close quarter situations like deep balls within inches of the sidelines. Justin showed real poise and if he can show that under pressure and a team can build a strong O Line in front of him and give him some WR’s like the ones he had in this workout, he will make some team a consistent playoff contender. This kid will be a Super Bowl Champion someday because if this is how he comes out of college, he will be even better once he develops a little more.
