Mark thank you. Just got mine. Playing with it to do simple broadcast and use it for things like zoom calls! It is so simple to use and drives my bcm104 flawlessly. I also noticed the transparency…have to listen very closely to hear difference. But it works flawless. It does get warm but agree only hear fan at start up. No touch screen lag. Please do some videos where you set it up and show how to get the best out of its compression, gate, limiter and eq. Oh and I should note I traded in my Apollo twin x for this beauty and could not be happier for the future of where this will take us.
...and you've discovered just how darned good the Anubis/MT 48 is. It's a very serious and flexible tool. Make sure that you save all your presets..also bus compression? Parallel compression? Bus EQ?! It's all in there. Don't forget the fact that you can record 2 tracks from the MT48, one with FX and one without. I'm a fan, have owned an Anubis for some time now and I just wouldn't part with it - unless it was for an MT48 because, frankly, there isn't anything better than this device, for this price. It packs a hell of a lot into a small package for not a lot of money (yes it's expensive but it *actually delivers the goods*)
Right? Yeah being able to track both pre and post effects is huge. Wow. So simple, yet so powerful and the routing is insanely comprehensive. So much still to learn. Loving it.

My main microphone is an AKG414 eb with c12 brass capsule, which I love and use for most applications, however, I would like to compliment that with another mic. My thoughts so far are hovering around JZ47/67 (which do you prefer to complement the 414eb) and 3u audio gz251fet. Would love to hear your thoughts.🙏
It sounds amazing. UAD has been the King of desktop interfaces for a long long time. I'd bet they are working an answer to this device right now or may I say I hope so. Thanks God for Competence. Everybody is saying the old king is dead, long life to the new king.
UAD’s mediocre conversion has always just been accepted as a trade off because its DSP allowed it to do what nobody else could do, but now that native plugs have caught up, UAD is being exposed as a company seemingly without a roadmap. I have to believe they are working on something but I don’t have confidence right now that it will be next level worthy if and when it happens. Neumann has made it clear they are building an entire pro-level studio ecosystem.
@The Microphone Assassin It would be great if you could do a comp between the MT48 and your Apollo. No one has done that yet (at least I can't find it) and I think many people is expecting it.

I recently bought the Neve 88m which I absolutely love. The pre's and DI sounds excellent, and both run the the Marinair transformers. Sounds excellent with my Blue Blueberry, SM7 and Neumann TLM 67. It's also easy to use external pre's with the Neve 88m due to the inserts in the back. I am currently running the Neumann TLM 67 into a Neve 1073 into the return of the Neve 88m. Glorious sound, but almost to much color. I'm thinking the Neumann MT 48 may be the perfect match for the Neumann TLM 67 adding just the right amount of light color with its clean-ish hifi sounding pre's.
