      "What are you talking about? First of all, these are people's rights. If there isn't probable cause that something happened and the car isn't there, they aren't allowed to enter. They have no probable cause. And if they were alive and found the police ransacked their home, who would then be getting yelled at? Or was it the phone call where no information was able to be given and they couldn't trace it? You act as if the police should know immediately everything about what happened. The police can be scummy, but this is far from it."

      I'm not one who's in favor of frivolous lawsuits, but I feel certain that the mother of the last one would have won if she had sued the police department. She told them over and over that her son was in danger, and even when they checked on him and saw that he wasn't doing well, they did nothing.

    I’m so sick of hearing how this monster or that monster was sexually abused as a child. So were my sister and myself, repeatedly, by family members and so called friends of the family. We grew up to be responsible adults and although it destroyed our self confidence and it took us years to learn to love ourselves, never in a million years would we harm others. In the end it’s a personal choice. Praying for the victim’s families.

      I'm sorry you had to go through those experiences. However, our brains are not identical. We don't all process information the same way. We don't react the same to stimuli. We don't all have the same reaction to stressful situations. Abuse doesn't effect everyone the same. One person can go on to live a meaningful, productive life after so much suffering. Others are emotionally decimated by the abuse they endure. There are also those who fabricate stories of abuse in the hopes of justifying their violent behaviors. There isn't one standard reaction to receiving abuse.

    Was he really guilty to begin with, did embezzle money, was ashamed, and snapped?
    Or was he a looser who the Ding family helped by partnering with him, giving him a job but he couldn't carry his own weight? So many questions.

  • @t.yop9
    @t.yop9 3 месяца назад +4

    They really leaned into exoticizing the culture as motive for the murder. Du was in financial ruin and felt that Ding was the reason for his situation, so he took revenge. This happens everywhere and has nothing to do with 'losing face' and whatever nonsense they made up to drag this 30 minute story into an hour show. This case is about a botched 999 call, police incompetence and perhaps lack of care due to the ethnicity of the victims. This was a tragedy for the Ding family, who had to endure the murderer getting away for 2 years due to police incompetence and negligence, and even the murders could have been prevented if the police had responded in a timely manner.

    I had exactly the same situation with my husband of 30 years. However, I just left, not harming anyone. It is hard to feel attachment to someone who chose to remain a stranger for decades. There was no way to feel close to him because there was scarcely a relationship. The only words he ever spoke to me were criticisms and orders. How do you grieve the loss of someone like that? They portray the other woman as a sweet, innocent victim, but the reality is that she stole someone who had been very dear to her attacker and wiped out all the wife’s future hopes and dreams. There was obviously a future the woman had envisioned and it was not a life of rejection and solitude. In a way, the adulteress was a murderer, too. She just struck first, murdering a soul.

      "Common sense" doesn't exist. It's a term for people to pass the buck.

      @@PlatinumIrishrose. Totally disagree, common sense is what books do not teach. If yourself or your children are not taught common sense, many choices that are made, people that you or they associate with, continuing education, jobs, etc. can all suffer &/or be very poorly chosen without thinking of the best issues for that individual.
