Yeah that's true 👍. I don't really mention that in this video. I just emphasis if the 6th still seat by Scara but because of memory-erase incident, it get replaced by "false information" aka "Vacant for years" to make up the reality more sense. 🍡
@@fatuusdottore It is what it is, Personally I wanna see what Hoyoverse will do with this kinda thing, will They make it more complicated or fail to follow the set rule that they use to? 😅
@@hellozenn I have a feeling the reason why it remains vacant is someone in the Fatui didn't get his/her memory erased and that the 6th fatui is always been Scaramouche
I think it's important to emphasize that the changes to Irminsul only changes the "written record", it's not a time travel, change the past, kind of scenario so it doesn't really create a paradox, just gaps in memories for those that can't be filled. At most, it could only cause a mandela effect.
Interesting video. I consider Ei planting the tree more of a stable time loop than changing the past. From her perspective the tree suddenly appeared around 500 years ago and she was the only one not remembering it being there. Then in the present she enters her battle with Raiden Shogun for a few centuries. After we enter again she wins and plants the tree.
Hmmm, I can see your reasoning there. Overall, I personally think Hoyoverse need to be careful for future story because most of the time, story with time-theme usually will bring unintentional paradox and instead make the story become more uninteresting to progress, either by too often using time or making something more complicated. Also, Thx for commenting here, I really appreciate your thought there. About Ei planting the tree, well, I guess she has Istaroth there so the event become more stable than other. 🍡
Agreed, it is hard to make time travel work and I am rather anxious about the changing memories thing. Hopefully they have planned the Main-Story from start till finish. I appreciate you answering me too. I am sure there will be many curveballs yet to come in the story and you will bring as interesting theories.
@@chaoskampf3095 Yeah, I also wish they don't use irminsul tree erasing memory effect to excuse plot hole in the story XD, like "Oh yeah this event donot ever happen cause irminsul tree erase that..." etc. 😅 I'm pretty sure with new artifact, Flower of Paradise Lost and probably next 3.4 update WILL bring more juicy lore to deal with. i just assumed that irminsul or something just fill the blanks after scaramouche tried to "erase" himself so that the history still makes sense. the events that happened in teyvat cannot or never be changed (i mean the vase is always broken regardless of what scaramouche did) at the end of the story, some random mysterious girl casually gives another forbidden knowledge that only traveler can understand while paimon uh, whatever she does as paimon. i would like to believe its one of the descenders, but thats only speculation since in my head it *makes sense*
Yeah true, that's how the erasing-memory thingy works. It doesn't change anything. Just replace it with another memory. But unfortunately, Scara is unaware to that and makes this whole paradox happen. Also about the last Mysterious voice well I will talk about it later in the neck video, so I guess you can check that too and share your thoughts 👍 Overall, nice observation and love ur thought here.🍡
That quest really gave me a headache but It was really cool. the bad points 1. I still a bit mix about scaramouch recovering he's memories, what the point of all the quest then ? 2. Why the traveler didn't go see Ei and Miko ? Like that they the most related to scara so why don't ask them ? the traveler go see Ayaka and the other and didn't even met them.... I find that really dumb the good points 1.The story became more and more interesting and the writing really feel more balance 2. Paimon talk a bit less and that really cool 3. Since paimon talk less the traveler seem a bit more involved Now for the quest I don't think a time paradox will be a big problem since we learn that past cannot change. We saw 2 things with rukha : past don't change litteraly but rather the memories are 'adapted' and you can't erased yourself. I think you made a little mistake with the scaramouch time line. In the first one scaramouch go inside the tatarigami but after the rewriting it was niwa and the other guy who goes inside, so it wasn't filled with a blank and I suppose he was replace in the other events in which he should have been involved. That my guess and I also wonder what will be the Fatui next move and if they have a way to escape the history changes
The point of him recovering his memories was his growth to realizing he can't run away from his past. He can only do that by firat remembering his past.

About Scaramouche, Tatarasuna and Tatarigami...well i guess i dont really explain it more detail in video, I just push my point which the memory either get blank or replace by "false information" to make it up....so the incident and event still kinda makes sense.
