Everyday coming to a stop, I use both most of the time. When I went through the MSA in Md over 30 years ago, we were taught to use both.

I sent my son to the course last year. Now they teach primarily rear breaking, and use the front the last few feet.
Apparently a lot of people were going over the bars.
That was great , seeing you on your street glide again was so awesome, I understand that you have new bikes (road glides) and you probably enjoy them more but I would to see you more on your street glide doing tours , I have a street glide my self and I say it is the best motorcycle I've ever had, and were my inspiration to get a street glide....... thank you so much and keep gliding, God Bless you and your family
I’ve been a fan of your channel since day 1. The change that bike has went through is insane. Don’t get me wrong, I love the stretched bags, dual exhaust cut out and 21” wheel that bike looks and sounds like a whole different animal now. And I’m sure it is! Love it! ✌️

Always on the rear brake first. Slow rolling coming to a stop, front is fine.
Can't say I use one more than the other.
If I'm riding a chopper, fulltime rear brake.
I normally start with front brake then apply back brake, and like you stated if I’m running hard both
Mostly rear very occasional front brake. I was taught in an emergency situation if you commonly use the front you can react and panic and squeeze the front brake too hard and now your ability to avoid the emergency or keep traction is very low. Don’t want that muscle memory to get you in trouble. 😁
An emergency stop I use front and rear and then as it stops, I let off the front and finish up the rear

Doesn’t braking rely on whether u have ABS? I heard for non ABS bikes, u should use mainly rear brake if u need to emergency brake. Using the front brake too hard on a nonABS will lock the wheel and send u sliding
I think that's why I prefer the rear brake since I rode bikes without ABS for so long.

I have a 2017 HO 103 BreakOut and I'm dyno'd at 124hp and 138tq. And I thought that was fast!! Think the #s are close to a stock 131. Yours has to pull real hard for a bagger!
Edit: I use front brake 1st, then it becomes 70% front/30% rear. I have Dunlop American Elites on my rear 240 and Cobra Chromes for my 21" 130 front. The Chromes are softer so it helps with corners. The rear is a medium compound and soft sides. I have almost 14k on my rear Elite and still going! Maybe 3k left on the rear.
Can’t wait to get to TN in August! Never been there on a bike.
Oh, and typically I use the engine to slow down, then use the back brake but both if needing to stop on a hurry.
Im front brake almost exclusively unless I’ve made a mistake and really need both. Coming to a stop light or sign I use front brake then switch over to rear brake below a certain speed for balance. Trail braking the front brakes a lot when ripping the technical roads.
Dang. I didnt know that about the carbon fiber wheels. I use both brakes. Liken the to be continued (till God calls us home)

I use both all the time 60% front 40% rear.
rear brake the majority of the time. Both front and rear brake at the start depending on speed and the purpose of slowing down. Rear at slow speeds.

On my 2012 Stryker I’m mostly on rear. On my 2023 pikes peak multi, I’m most on the front~minus slow speed in town.
I find rears better on my heavier cruisers and fronts better on lighter sportier bikes.
I naturally wanna use my rear more. Especially in slow speed turns.

Is the side exhaust loud? Like noticeably loud since its pretty much right there at the ear?
And as for the break question. Man, DANTHEFIREMAN really branded it into my brain about incorrectly using that front break lol, so, i always initiate the rear first and apply the front 2nd and progressively apply pressure to slow the bike down until about 20-15mph then i take a page from BE THE BOSS OF YOUR MOTORCYCLE and only use rear break at speeds 15mph below

It's hard to use that rear brake when you have leg kicked out, sliding into a turn.

Best to finish up your stop with the rear only
Slow speed/parking lot, back brake makes those turns tight.
