You have to got give her credit. Not everyone who says that they have drunk has enough stamina to even check themselves into rehab. Some just go on drinking. Maybe this, on the brighter side of things, was a wake up call to her to get better, to treat herself better.
Even if you are totally drunk as a professional musician, you could never be that out of tune, it's not only about vocal technique but about listening skills, too. Poor girl...

An interesting reflection of the current condition of America. We're broken. I don't understand why they don't just have the military present the anthem at these sports events. Let celebrities stick to their own style. We're the only country that allows our anthem to be butchered by celebrity singers and performers.

I'll take it one step further... why is the national anthem being played before a sporting event anyway? I'm a long-time hockey fan. When teams from the US and Canada play each other, the national anthem for *both* countries is played/sung before the puck is dropped. I'm a proud Canadian, but this is ridiculous... just get on with the game! Sure, there could still be special occasions when the national anthem might be appropriate... but not before *every* game of an 82 game schedule.
