I've watched her in a UK talk show once: and she came across as a very sympathetic lady from beginning to end.
I also read they said a short prayer together.
She is a class act! I worked local crew for one of her concerts many years ago. Instead of bolting out of the venue afterwards like a lot of artists, she stayed til we were on our last bunch of road cases to load out and thanked us for all our hard work.

I think it was in an interview with Colbert where she said it was her idea to point to the flag. And in rehearsals there was a flag somewhere she could gesture to without spinning in a circle 😂 But the moved it! So she started the line and just thought "keep turning girl" and there it was. You can almost see relief on her face.
She has two natural talents that make her incomparable. Perfect pitch and rhythm. Most talents are lucky enough if they have one. Here is a women in her prime, not showing any sign of decline. Depends on the song. Some are much better than others. La Marseillaise (France) and the Russian anthems are some of the world's best and most inspiring. Others are very classical and formal, but don't quite inspire the same way. And some, I think you just have to have a certain perspective to fully appreciate, like the Israeli one. In fact, some countries have songs that probably could be the national anthem, like Italy and Bella Ciao. And it depends on the rendition. I've heard good versions and bad versions of all of these. When its sung with some patriotism, it's always inspiring.
I have never seen/heard this song sung more beautifully. I can not listen to it without crying. I can not listen to it without remembering the insurrection.
