As a longtime fan of Gaga it was so beautiful and heart warming to see her perform the national anthem at the Super Bowl and nail it. But it was more beautiful to see the incredibly positive reaction she got from the general public. It seems that people have FINALLY come to realize that Gaga's talent is 100% authentic and shes a true singer.

She added just the right amount of flourishes to the anthem, just enough to make it distinctively her own. So many times in modern renditions, there is too much gobbledygook added. She has a beautiful voice, truly one of the greats! This lady is a national treasure.

Wow, that last note as the jets flew over, she hit it full blast and held it perfectly. Just a strong and beautiful voice.And she has such great,even vibrato on those high notes.She does not go into a light falsetto but hits the high notes with full force.A great vocal talent and excellent songwriter too.
It seems to me that everything from this performance was perfectly executed. The voice. The piano. The timing of the U.S. soldiers. The timing of the planes. Even the weather that day was perfect. Respect to the USA from Germany.

Probably the best version, she starts softly and timid and gradually goes strong and loud.
Just the way it should be... She did a wonderful job! With much respect you can tell and sings it with so much passion and very heart felt. Love this performance.

Every once in a while I come back to listen. I was literally gobsmacked hearing this for the first time. I LOVE how she shocked so many with her powerful vocals. I still get chills when I listen to it.
I'm convinced this rightfully got her, her halftime show the following year. And she crushed the halftime show as well.

This is my favorite performance to date. I remember rolling my eyes when I heard she was singing it. But she was captivating from the very first note. She was so respectful to the anthem and this rendition doesn’t get the hype it deserves.

Gaga catches a lot of hell, but she is one TALENTED lady. Her performance of our National Anthem was so respectful... no show boating or excessive creative licensing. She performed from her heart and you can tell she felt so honored to be there. Our National Anthem always brings me to tears because I still have so much pride in our country.
