She is one of those rare artists who sounds just as flawless in person as she does on her albums, if not better. Her voice is so powerful and soulful, it can run the gamut from softly sweet to stirringly deep. I really like her looks and demeanor also. Her features are more unique than the typical Hollywood cookie cutter, but I think that makes her all the more striking.

Great series. This is my favorite episode. Lady Gaga is a great singer AND songwriter, and she seems to put a lot of heart into her singing. It must be amazing to be in the car with her while she is singing. As an aside, James Corden has done really well in these series. Not only is he funny, but he has done a very good job singing along.

What are you talking about, Did they even sing a song that wasn't Lady Gagas? Like sure shes good without autotune or anything, but I feel like the magic of this show was seeing guests sing favorite songs of other artists. Ever since the first one, they have been using more and more of the guests songs, which is annoying because it then becomes pure acting. They have sang that song a thousand times, of all the people in the world they are likely to be sick of hearing that song.
The end gave me so much chills....and I'm I the only one who thought she sounded like she was about to start crying towards the end...and the way Jame Corden literally sat back and listened to her sing was really amazing too...you could see he was really shocked/blown away.

I've always appreciated that this is someone who performed live on keyboard and vocals *for years* either by herself or a duet, on her own initiative, before anyone knew who she was. I'm mostly a prog-rock guy by inclination and most pop music doesn't even register with me...I don't know how much of Gaga's songs are written by her or how much of what you hear are due to her own choices, but "Marry The Night" and "Gypsy" are two amazingly well-written and great-sounding songs and I expect there are more I haven't heard. I hope she makes albums for a long time.
I feel like at the last song, James was genuinely amazed, and he didn't sing as loud, or as much, just so everyone could hear how genuinely incredible she is.
He was amazed, he did it with Stevie wonder and Sia, he is actually in awe of great singers and pauses to listen, hes a normal guy in an amazing position.

Julie Zaagsma I'm not sure if James does always practice the words. In Carpool Karaoke with Chris Martin, James gets the words completely wrong to Viva La Vida and they both have a laugh about it. Also with Sia, James asks her what she's actually singing.
James can sing pretty well, and has an good ear for harmonizing. He is often complemented by the pros, and his preparation is quite commendable. However, James is in total awe of Lady Gaga's amazing singing talent as she kicks it into overdrive and delivers a pitch-perfect and emotion-filled rendition of Million Reasons. Fantastic!

There is so much passion and sincerity in her voice in every video I have seen of the Lady singing "A Million Reasons." I can't imagine anyone who sings that doesn't just stop and stare when she sings it.

What are you talking about, Did they even sing a song that wasn't Lady Gagas? Like sure shes good without autotune or anything, but I feel like the magic of this show was seeing guests sing favorite songs of other artists. Ever since the first one, they have been using more and more of the guests songs, which is annoying because it then becomes pure acting. They have sang that song a thousand times, of all the people in the world they are likely to be sick of hearing that song.

I've always appreciated that this is someone who performed live on keyboard and vocals *for years* either by herself or a duet, on her own initiative, before anyone knew who she was. I'm mostly a prog-rock guy by inclination and most pop music doesn't even register with me...I don't know how much of Gaga's songs are written by her or how much of what you hear are due to her own choices, but "Marry The Night" and "Gypsy" are two amazingly well-written and great-sounding songs and I expect there are more I haven't heard. I hope she makes albums for a long time.

I'm not sure if James does always practice the words. In Carpool Karaoke with Chris Martin, James gets the words completely wrong to Viva La Vida and they both have a laugh about it. Also with Sia, James asks her what she's actually singing.

James can sing pretty well, and has an good ear for harmonizing. He is often complemented by the pros, and his preparation is quite commendable. However, James is in total awe of Lady Gaga's amazing singing talent as she kicks it into overdrive and delivers a pitch-perfect and emotion-filled rendition of Million Reasons. Fantastic!
