Our car rental in Queenstown, NZ is a Mahihdra XUV500 diesel automatic. I have never driven a Mahindra vehicle before, and I was blown away but its performance and petrol efficiency! 😮 It was a workhorse going uphill & it's got features like a luxurious SUV. The biggest turn off for me though is the material & quality of the dashboard. It's like one of those cheap plastic toys from China. Wtf were you thinking, Mahindra?

Xuv W7 automatic is the real value for money variant.. sunroof is just a fancy stuff.. rest all necessary features are already present in the W7 variant.. just add alloy wheels and foglamps and the vehicle is complete..😉

The duster doesn't cut it when you are looking at the likes of the xuv500 or the scorpio though duster is a brilliant car in its own right. Personal preference. Whereas creta is concerned, you will be better of with a vitara brezza.

Well the Hexa is great option....has better build than the XUV, is more powerful (at least the torque) and can tackle those bad patches every now and then.

Being the XUV 500 the most loved suv, Mahindra should come up with a proper functional off roader XUV 500 with 4x4 4H, 4L and 4x2 variant with the suitable needed suspension and place it in the price range above the current XUV 500. I am sure a huge amount of consumers should be wanting a proper 4x4 XUV 500 off roader with sufficient features and affordable price. A proper affordable monocoque off roader is wat i and many need. few years ago XUV 500 looked luxurious but today it looks out of place especially interior. It's not even that old. Our car industry moving ahead thanks to Tata and Hyundai who have upped the game esp with interiors and build quality

Good video but i'd like to say something. Firstly, i'd just go for the Creta. Let's face it, most average users who buy these cars aren't going to be trashing their cars in slush (like you showcased in the video) or go on any serious offroading adventure. Therefore, the AWD isn't really needed and i think that the Creta could've managed the slush without too much trouble. Secondly, the XUV - 500 isn't a true-blue off-roader. The XUV prefers the road over off-road surfaces. Therefore, i really didn't understand what you meant by a "True SUV" when you referred to the XUV. The only advantage is the road presence. Overall, according to my perception from this video, the XUV is just in it for the AWD and doesn't really offer any distinct advantage over the Creta.

One important point was missed or not communicated explicitly. Creta is not a 5 Seater. It can accommodate 2 Adults and 1 Children at rear seat. Also leg space is not spacious as XUV. XUV can accommodate 3 adults comfortably in the middle row.

U r comparing a creta with legendary XUV..... of course XUV500 it is a different segment car.
Buy an XUV if you are primarily driving on highways and rural areas (less traffic) and get a Creta if you are living in cities like mumbai where Traffic is your 2nd address
buy a Duster if you are out of your mind
