You really should mention a bit more about Steve Wynn and Milken and Roger Thomas and the design crew, Butler and Radoff. When it opened, people were crying on the Strip. It was the most significant event in Vegas history. I recall the white tiger habitat near the entrance, very very popular

I was there at last weekend, and I thought it was great. The pool was fantastic, and the table minimums were better than most other casinos. The Shin Lim show was amazing.

Had a slice of cheesecake at that place right before elevators and it was horrible but regardless of that everything else was on point. Nice review sir.

how much is a cocktail at the pool bar? The drinks in the casino are free, right?

The 12oz sized cocktails are around $15-16 at the pool. And yes, you can get free drinks while playing in the casino!

We can thank bogus MGM for selling the beautiful Mirage to Hard Rock. Soon we'll see that tacky and out of place guitar right in the middle of the strip. We have a brand new Hard Rock casino/resort under construction near where I live (Rockford, IL). I couldn't be more unexcited. The temporary casino in Rockford has the worst blackjack rules that I have ever seen.
