You're a hero! I've only just discovered midjourney and this was my biggest issue with it - getting lost in a constantly-updating page of other people's, often amazing, creations. Now I can create at a less stressful pace and not be distracted. Many many thanks for sharing.
My GOD, thank thank you THANK YOU for being precise with your direction and including every step! Yours is literally the 4th tutorial I tried that purportedly shows how to do this and the FIRST to include the steps on how to navigate BACK to the MJBOT option to invite. None of the other ones said to click on any channel to pull it up... They assumed everyone knew how to do this. Before I got here to your page, I was on MJ Home looking ALL OVER to no avail for a link to the frickin' bot... I was about to give up and am SO glad I found a page (yours) with a clue how to educate people properly. SUBBED! :)
Thank you so much for this. I work alone because I'm soooo easily distracted. I'm very new to MidJourney so I'm hoping this is going to be an awesome adventure. Also, it only took me less than 5 minutes to create my server, "Athena's Server." Thanks Jen!
YES! Same here! I found THREE other pages purportedly showing how to do this and each one left out crucial steps on how to navigate completely back to the MJ Bot to invite it in....
Thank you! I like to explore what others are doing, but sometimes when you try your own thing it's just way too distractimg with all others.. This is perfect solution!
So is this a filter in effect? Your art can still be seen on a main page by others? I’m assuming it’s not private, as they charge extra? Is it in any other respects, slightly less visible to others?
Technically your images are still public. But since you’re not creating on one of the public feeds, there’s less of a chance of people seeing your images. Can still be seen in your gallery and on the community feed. Doesn’t cost extra.
Technically, they are still public. But they aren't in the main image generation feeds, so it's less likely others will see them. They can still pop up on the Community Feed page, though.
If you mean bringing over images that you already created into your server - yes. Use the JobID number and /show . Find your image. In the top right corner click the emoji icon. Select the envelope emoji. Midjourney sends you a message with the Job ID. Go into your server and type /show and copy the job id. Bring over your grids and re-upscale from here.
Thanks. Adding midjourney another way didn't work as their name didn't appear, but going from the membership list and adding from there worked. Weird but oh well.
I'm not seeing any outages that might cause this. If the server goes down, there may be a problem. I'd suggest waiting a few hours and trying the steps again.

No problem! I usually make these videos because I'm trying to do something myself.

😀 Me too! I like to dive into the daily theme sometimes to get some inspiration. But I'd never get anything done if I was creating in public spaces.
Thanks !! I'm on a small laptop and being in these rooms was TAKING all my battery (is it surprising after all) now I chill.
😀 it's fun to drop in and see what everyone is doing. But it's nice to go create in your own corner, too.
thank YOU !!! :D
No problem!
Just what I needed! Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

@@MakingPhoto cool, thanks for the clarification :-)
super helpful and yes - was easy!
Thank you!
nice thanks! Will the images I create on my server be public on the MJ server? or are they private?
Technically, they are still public. But they aren't in the main image generation feeds, so it's less likely others will see them. They can still pop up on the Community Feed page, though.
Hi, is there a way to bring your creations in newbie channel to your own server?
If you mean bringing over images that you already created into your server - yes. Use the JobID number and /show . Find your image. In the top right corner click the emoji icon. Select the envelope emoji. Midjourney sends you a message with the Job ID. Go into your server and type /show and copy the job id. Bring over your grids and re-upscale from here.
Is what you do still public? Or do you have to subscribe to get the stealth mode
Technically, images are still public. But if you're on your own server, it's less likely others will see your images. They won't be in the feeds.
Omg thank you so much

thank you!!!
You're welcome! Enjoy creating!
thank you
thanks
Can i invite friends who share my account on my server ?
Yes. You should be able to!
The bot won't join my server?
I'm not seeing any outages that might cause this. If the server goes down, there may be a problem. I'd suggest waiting a few hours and trying the steps again.
thank you
Thank you!!!!!
