I'm wondering if this means the vampires will have to be on the run and have to hide, which may mean more Jackie Daytona (which I am all in favor of!) Thanks so much for doing these reactions! Been loving them. Can't wait for Season 3!
@@greatgodpan5001 No and yes. Guillermo as a word doesnt mean anything. Etymologically it originates from the germanic Wilhelm, wich means willfull helmet, and can be translated as willfull defender. Not trying to be an ass or anything, just clarifying, i just dont want non spanish speaking people to get the impression that Guillermo is a spanish word with a meaning. Its not. Its just the spanish version of William, and it means as much and as little as William does. But etymologically, yes, you are absolutelly right, both Guillermo and William mean willfull defender. If that is just a happy coincidence or intended is a question for another day. Its a bit convoluted, but it might be just very clever.

Late to the Party ! This season was so funny and I can't wait to see what they do for season 3 😃 . Today was my ladys birthday and she was so happy we got to watch it today, she likes how loyal Guillermo still is by going to help them . I was wondering if you guys seen WHAT WE DO BEFORE THE SHADOWS, a show hosted by Harvey Guillen ? If not, Its awesome and I think you guys would like it. Not too many people know of it but anyways Rob ,Vanessa you guys rock ! Love the reaction
I loved the slaughter at the home of the Hustle Dynasty. But Guillermo didn't kill everyone there, did he? I am pretty sure there were some live vamps when they fled.
Just wondering what you think of the series" Wellington Paranormal". I think its ok, but for some reason I like "What we do in the Shadows" better. The characters I seem to feel more for. And are more interested in. The Police Characters in "Wellington Paranormal", get boring after a while. Do not get me wrong, I like the show, it is just a little of it goes a long ways.
@@LatetotheParty ignore them, Wellington Paranormal is actually great. Huge hit in new Zealand to the point the Prime ministers fiancee cameo'd in first episode of season 2. It is officers O'Leary and Minogue from movie just at work. Clement and Waititi are heavily involved in making that too and it's set in the same canon. Cameos from characters in What we do movie and is thoroughly enjoyable. Be good to see you react (tide you over until season 3 of what we do) to both seasons of Wellington Paranormal too and help spread that show. Is it as good as what we do? Episode for episode? No. But that's a high bar and there are like 2 or 3 episodes out of 13 altogether that I thought weren't that funny. But Alien episodes, vampire, werewolf, ghosts, witches, taniwha, Xmas special, been some excellent episodes. They are SUPPOSED to be the same gormless, useless, oblivious officers from the original movie. What we do verse is spoof paranormal mockumentaries. Spooky office. Not everything is f'ing thrones needing dissection. It's pretty simple and straightforward. And superb compared to 99% of comedy shows. Also check out Fonejacker/Facejacker UK series (there's 2 of each) for more Kayan Novak (Nandor) doing prank phone calls and sasha baron Cohen style in-person characters. More Matt Berry (Lazlo) at his finest, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace (A MUST - 1 series), Toast of London, Snuff Box (1 series), AD/BC a rock opera (watch for xmas- 1off special musical he made) Mighty Boosh series 1 and IT Crowd series 2. Yes. They were both geniuses before this and I was thrilled at their casting for this series. Their work speaks for itself. Talented, funny and I'm so proud of my boi's. And yes...Matt Berry talking like that is his thing. Iconic at this point. That is a LOT of excellent comedy there. You're welcome. x
@@LatetotheParty also I've always wanted to tell this story...so poor you... Matt Berry has always been a hero of mine. Seen all his shows and even seen him live performing his music from his shows. His fame and casting in this (like Novak) made me so happy. What a bunch of POSERS!!!!!!!
That last sequence was so incredible. I was shocked.
First Buffy, then Blade, and now...Guillermo! One thing is clear, don't mess with the brood.
If they could have all those cameos in S1 with the different vampires, they should have another in S3 with different vampire hunters

He also shouted at the vampires to get off him, that was sweet too.
Guillermo de la Cruz, Last name De la Cruz never expected that. De la Cruz means of the cross makes sense...
Yeah, he's literally the Defender of the Cross. Awesome name for a vampire hunter!
Clasic you have almost a last name like his. Part of our linage comes mostly from spain which makes sense.
Rick and morty and what we do in the shadows finishing there seasons so closely has left a big hole in my anticipated weekly shows

Ficando melhor a cada temporada não vejo a hora de anjos aparecerem querendo salvar suas almas, vai ser hilário. Abraços aos dois.

The Office + Seinfeld + vampires = awesome
if Guillermo becomes a Vamp wouldn't that make him the most strongest o.0 especially with his blood mixed in? o.0
Any season 3 news?
what if there is a twist where he doesn’t turn into a vampire after the process because he’s a vampire hunter..
