I’m 11 and have to deal with it. It’s not bad. You have to be the role model for your younger siblings and show them how to be mature. Then they will like to hang out with you because you will understand how they feel. Even with the age gap. (When I was 7, my mom had twins)

Everyone's commenting about how they pushed Ashley aside, but remember that Jo helps and deals with problem children and, despite the parents saying they wanted to have more time with her, she's fine. She doesn't have any problems that they reported and Jo didn't see anything she was doing out of the ordinary, so as long as everything goes well in this episode, then the parents will have time for her in the end anyways

But that’s going to change. The relationship between the parents and their teenage son, has to change. I’m so happy that the parents are doing their jobs as parents. Open communication free from judgment is so crucial to have with your children. I didn't feel that I could talk to my parents about ANYTHING, so I made sure to do things differently with my own kids. My son is more reserved when it comes to the tough topics, but oh my word, my daughter tells me EVERYTHING, and asks me ALL the questions. This is how I believe it is supposed to be, and I love it.
