The reason behind The Tidal Zone not airing is because the Nick schedule is starting to get tighter since 3 movies that were shown in theaters are Nick movie premieres this month according to the recently aired promo. Which means The Tidal Zone could stream on Paramount+ as a streaming premiere, which was why there’s not enough room for it to air on Nick this month.
That's the problem, they keep playing movies all day instead of actual cartoons. A movie once in a while is good but you can't just put movies for the whole day
I have 2 theories as to why it was pushed back. Theory 1: the crew wanted more time to work on it and thought it wasn’t ready. Theory 2: Nickelodeon decided to push it back to Thanksgiving weekend or Christmas break so that it can pull in more viewers since kids will have school off and won’t have to worry about stuff like homework or tests which would pull away viewership.
Maybe the reason they pulled it from the schedule could be because they're redeveloping it into a feature length film, and that would sound pretty cool.

Why John Flannery? Why? If you don't know who he is, he joined the scheduling department of Nickelodeon 2 years ago. Even other countries began to air Season 2 of Milo much earlier than the US, which usually gets things FIRST. Disney has treated Milo Murphy's Law like garbage after Season 1 ended, at least throughout the entirety of 2018, and while it was better in 2019 by giving each S2 episode a weekly release, it was put on a garbage time slot that guaranteed low viewing scores (and even when it gained more views than a popular show like Star vs, instead of Milo getting rewarded with a better time slot, Star got _punished_ with the same time slot as Milo). Disney's garbage treatment and little promotion pretty much guaranteed in Milo failing and being put on limbo, and Dan and Swampy had to move on to other projects (like Candace Against the Universe).
