I watched this 20 times in a row, and I still can't get enough of it! THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I have goosebumps every time I hear his voice, he was born to sing and I'm glad America made him win the competition! When will he's new album come out? I can't wait!

(Although he didn’t win he still got signed to a record label but he only put out one album 💿 that year & a few videos ~ toured but decided to do music 🎶 at home on his own… which makes me sad bc he doesn’t do many shows anymore ? I want to see David Cook tour again or have a big show! I swear I’m ready even if I have to travel to get there! We love our Cookie!!

This song...just wow. This was one my favorite songs that he performed. It's a shame that the way they arranged that entire night was a disaster, because this song is very rarely seen as a favorite. But the beautiful arrangement of this song is just amazing!!! It's one of his best, IMO!!!

This still gives me chills. I'm an old Neil Diamond fan for sure. But Neil Diamond's version and David Cook's version are very different. David really deserved the win he got. He deserves continued success. Love his first album. Can't wait for the second album due early 2011.

I know a lot of fans would love him to release this song but he wont ever do it, He is an artist that Doesn't have to release other artist's songs no matter how good he makes them sound the only reason he did the Don't you forget about me, song was because he had sang it while he was doing AI, so AI was able to use it without having to get the Ok from David
How he could take these corny tunes and make them sound fresh and modern is how he won. (Not including BJ which of course was heavily based on Cornell's version)
