This song is what me and my bf went thru. He said he wanted to go somewhere different and I told him that I supported him in anything. So he left the states. After a year later he came back. I had stayed single ( yes I did go out on like 2 dates but I never really connected with anyone so I focused on school more) and he literally came to my house and cried when he saw me. We started dating again and here we are years later looking for our first home.

Letting go of someone you love doesn't always mean goodbye. My bf & i had to let each other go because our relationship was shattering into pieces and we hurt each other's feelings. After a month of reflecting on ourselves, no communication at all, he asked me again on a date. And we both can't stop crying during that day. We talk a lot of things and how we miss each other. I know a month is just a short time but when you really love someone, an hour without your significant other feels like a day, and a day without him is like a month and a month without him felt like a year.
Sorry I was just scrolling through the comments and saw this. I am going through the same thing right now, I just hope we come back to each other like this. He’s the love of my life. We just lost a baby a few weeks ago and are working on fixing ourselves before we see what happens, but I really hope he does come back.

It's like when you meet an extremely good looking person and they don't know they are good looking. It adds to their attractiveness. Of course his vocal abilities is off the charts too. He has confidence without having cockiness. Ms. Underwood comes across as full of herself.

This song hits uncomfortably close to home right now. I'm in a place in my life where I need to be single and establish a stronger sense of self on my own. My first love and I agreed to be friends with plans that we'll try a relationship again when I'm in a place where I'm ready, where we're both ready. That plan has kept me in a relationship headspace though, which interferes with my individual self-discovery, so after struggling with my feelings I talked to my love and he basically said we both know our parting ways is the right course now, and that what we had was beautiful while it lasted. I meant what I said about wanting to try again later, but now I don't know if he still wants to or figures I'd be better off with someone else. Anyway, I hear this and imagine him singing it to me, and it makes me wistful.

Ah finally found this song. Normally when I am put on hold on over the phone they tend to play shitty songs but this time around they actually played a good song. This song. Well the sound quality was bad since it is over the phone I actually did like this song. Now that I know what the song is called and who sings it I can now add it to my music library.
