Gorgeous song……"I cry every time I hear this. For my best friend with Stage 4 uterine cancer, my “big sister” who died of pancreatic cancer and my grandmother and uncle who cancer took from me as well.
I cry every time I hear this song. This Loud Morning came out during the time I was caring for my husband, who had suffered a massive stroke. Every song touched me. When he passed, we made a photo video, and it was backed with music from the album. I gave a copy to David. I'm sure he doesn't remember (this was 2011), but I wanted him to know how his art means. And then we played Permanent at the funeral (yes, I know it was on his debut album). I will be forever grateful for Mr. Cook's music, his voice, and his wonderful being.
Gawd, I was so crazy about him in 2008. A bunch of us middle aged fan girls traveling around and going to the American Idol concerts, hoping to catch a glimpse of him. I don't know whether to be embarrassed or nostalgic.
Well I haven't heard him for a number of years (live that is) but still sounds great. Chunked up a little than last I saw of him but still looks good. Surprising to hear about all the pre-rounds for Idol. Never knew about that.
Beautiful beautiful rendition of Permanent ❤ Poor David…I remember Randy saying at his audition that he should do something w/his hands; then in Hollywood Simon said something about him looking awkward without a guitar. What did they want from the poor guy?!
That song is a song for everyone who has lost someone that they love unconditionally,.it reminds me of my dad,and how I felt when he passed away😥💔and my precious angel dog BEAR BEAR,,who was my anchor and my best friend!and was with me for 13.5 years getting me through the pain of losing my dad,😥💔my Dog BEAR BEAR got cancer to,she was my life!❤😥💔

Almost exactly what I said to a friend. Got to see him live recently. Ain't mad about any of it.
He’s aging like a fine wine.

This guy is so good.
Geez this song still makes me cry with him, for him, especially after loosing my husband two years ago. His voice is still fine as ever...

Don’t be embarrassed. I’m 41 and love this man to pieces. He’s incredible.

what a DADDY
Cocker could sing with rasp - seldom others could // you can and change
David Cook, you've gained weight, but you're a fan
He's 40. How many people do you know who weigh the same as they did at 25?
Pls David loose that weight. You are still young. I say this with lo
I still love his voice.
