Dolly Parton Night. Also, the night of the "Haircut heard round the world." lol Who knew that a decent haircut and a simple white shirt could make such a difference in the way someone looked? Ummmm...most any woman who has watched any kind of a makeover show. lol I guess David finally got out of David's way and with no distractions, people were finally able to hear "the voice" and pay full attention to the performance. Plus, after the week before, I think maybe the confidence had finally taken hold and he finally realized he WAS good enough to win the whole thing.

Not a fan of David Cook. Team Archie all the way here. But I have to admit he did a really good job with this song. Love how he put his own rock & roll spin on it.

Love the description but I don't think it was confidence at all, that motivated his choices from this point. I think he decided to stay true to himself as an artist, no matter what the consequences. He practically handed Archie the competition in Top 2.
