Ever since I designed the original GoPro Mount back in 2015 those that want a reliable camera mounting solution have chosen it over and over. It has become the industry standard at this point and imitated by many. Well I decided to improve on a solid concept. By redesigning the locking spring mechanism for easier and smoother lock up with the NVG shroud as well as adding the ability to change rotation and extend and contract the length of the arm. Hi mate I bought this mount from you around a month ago and have just recently been able to use it, when I run it seems to have a squeaking noise on the camera footage, I’m using a GoPro hero 8 with a waterproof case for airsoft, also I’m using the nuprol fast helmet

Will the GoPro sense that it’s upside down or you will have to rotate the video in editing? Only asking be I never had a GoPro and thinking of buying this whole system
You can do that or you can change the setting son the camera to record upside down.

There is a little metal Rod that came in mine and it falls out a lot. Also the spring bends when it is in my helmet mount and pops out really easily
Sorry about that. Can you glue it in maybe. I know you shouldn't have to do that but as a solution at this point?

Yea it does but you need to remove the little L tabs on the back

It’s so hard to actually place the mount into the shroud is this because I just need to use it more “break it in”? Not trying to cut/shave anything off scared to take too much off..
Are you using it in a replica shroud or a real one because they are different spec and the real one needs a minor mod. But the mount can be tough to rock in. Best way to do it is in reverse. Clip in the springy part first (bottom edge) then press down on the mount as you seat the top part in. Same for removing.
BrainExploder I have a real issues Kevlar so I have the legit metal shroud I shaved off the two little things on the back side to make it flush which make it sit flush. Compared to the video which makes the spring part look like it moved so easily, I’m using a crazy amount of strength to actually get it in there. Removal is far easier but still a task. Maybe it’s jsit the difference between the mount for my NVG compared to the one you originally made it for?
INFAMOUS XI could be a number of factors from shroud variances to print to print batches. Luckily it’s not typically a quick remove item and I figured too stiff is better than too loose.
BrainExploder 100% it’s a good thing it takes me some effort to get off hate to lose my GoPro, I was just curious since in the video the spring was easily manipulated. Im sure I’ll find some kind of technique to put it on, great product though far superior upgrade from a random eBay one I’ve been using. Thanks for the replies and the help!

This had bad reviews on amazon.. this product is essentially garbage
