I love how Tarlok is hanging for his life and I keep thinking Korra's going to rescue him. And then she blasts him off the ledge and is going for the kill. "I am not Aang, I will end you."
Y’all better don’t underestimate Tenzin lol he has his tattoos for a reason plus he’s a air nomad he’s more off the defensive type of fighter he will only use violence when it’s necessary.
Plus, he was trained by Avatar Aang (first time putting that in front of his name). Aang always tried to be clever and quick to outsmart his enemies. So, I’m sure he’s taught that to Tenzen
Tenzin is a pacifist. Trust me, y'all gon see what happens when push comes to shove later on in the series - Tenzin is more than just Aang's son. I can't WAIT for y'all to see it too Ima be watching THAT reaction from y'all. Tenzin is more powerful than you think I thought the same thing but these OG's in the show all put on when it comes down to the line.
ikr but like yo tenzin a beast against that one gang if you know what I mean and the og avatar team were more powerful benders than the ones in here like look at toph and korra earth benders..... toph made it look so clean and katara waterbending mastery is legendary no cap
@@atlastvera8567 yes lol i was tryin not spoil any future events in any manner. But yeah i agree with you, the original team avatar members are more powerful. I believe its because they grew up with the war. The new team avatar and the generation above them are powerful in their own right as well. Of course its Toph over Lynn, Aang over Korra, so to speak, but im just saying that these guys watchin the series have so much more to watch and see how powerful and - unique - this generation of characters are, especially in those times/situations where they need to step up. Cause this series has a lot of those.
Well here are my thoughts on the whole avatar state and air bending thing when it comes to Korra when accessing the Avatar State there needs to be some kind of spiritual power and they explained both in episode one ending this episode that she isn’t all that spiritual because it just doesn’t come as naturally as the other elements did outside air bending and on that fact since spiritualism and air bending seems so linked together it’s only natural that she hasn’t unlocked that either
That's exactly it aang was super spiritual so a great airbender but he needed to unlock his chakras to unlock the avatar state while Korra isn't spiritual so accessing those aren't easy for her till season 2
The thing that gives me chills is that guy in the flashback just looked at Toph and Blood-bended her, looks like his hands were bound - Hama, Tarlok and even Katara had to gesture fully to land the effect
lightning is indeed more common now. but azulas lightning was still different. after the main story in avatar the last airbender, its was discribed that azula let out lightning so powerfull it scared away all the spirits. For all info your gonna have to read the comics.
yeah since the element can feel different like azula when she used lightning it unleashed a big energy and sounded like a roar to me and scared me but these firebenders lightning looks so common and basic another example would be katara bloodbending against the old saggy hag when the old lady used it it looked so aggressive, unnatural, and forced but when katara used it it was so smooth, painful, natural and made it look easy and toph with her sensory type of fighting
@@atlastvera8567no they use instant lightning that’s not that powerful Azula uses instant lightning in the comics and it doesn’t kill and isn’t powerful
Thanks for the reaction as always guys, u know I appreciate it! Bloodbending is even more insane in this show, as if Hama and katara weren’t scary enough or something! Black Air Force energy to the extreme
- We've still only seen a handful of people lightening bend, and we've only seen maybe a dozen people metal bend and those were only all in the police force. The knowledge and training for these things seem more accessible than in the past, but it still seems like a small percentage of elite benders who can actually do it. Korra is a very powerful firebender and seems pretty solid in earth bending (no pun intended) but she's not metal bending or lightening bending, and she's the avatar.
Yeah, right around here is where the pace picks up in season 1. Season 2 is the weak leg of the series, but it enables a lot of the story in season 3 (season 3 is, IMO, the best season). Season 4 is good, but also very different in tone from the rest of the series. Unfortunately, Nickelodeon was very skeptical of the series as it was being made and refused to commit to more than a single season at a time, so there's no multi-season plot arcs. No spoilers, but you guys are gonna enjoy the rest of this season, at the very least.
The reason you guys think this generation is weaker then the old generation is because the old one grew up in war they had to be physically strong in order to survive because. The new one on the other hand has never known war so there was no reason for them to develop such capabilities and instead focus on non hostile innovations.
It's quite funny, though. spoiler Because Mako could definitely munch Zuko and Azula as he's _the_ fastest lightning bender in the franchise _and_ is quick as hell with the flames _and_ can redirect lightening. And of course, there's a character coming up later who would kill 12 year old toph and her cute lil metal suit.
it's understandable that you see aang as more op than korra given that you haven't finished the show yet.....but I will say one thing....strength is relative. The reason aang looked so op was because he wasn't up against op people (other than azula and ozai). Obviously i'm not going to spoil nothing but I want you to compare the enemies faced in avatar vs in korra and see the difference in scaling throughout the series
I think the enemies in LOK are better in the sense that they can't be beaten by physical strength alone. They are politic figures, social figures, ideologists, they have some kind of justice to them. While Azula was a great villain, Ozai was really the one dimentional evil guy. Korra is strong, but it doesn't help her fight her opponents and solve the world's problems, her weak point is diplomacy and spirituality, which is just what the world needs from her. I think, it makes a more compelling story. Where the not the hero's strengths are needed, but their weakneses. Growth is what makes every story good.
not to mention that Aang didnt beat azula a single time and only won vs ozai because of avatar state. Other than those two he either ran away or was facing some tier D/E benders like idk, swamp guy lmao. Korra's all villains are miles ahead of azula / ozai because of pure power but also those reasons Maayan said Like even Tarrlok is stronger opponent to beat than azula (bloodbending but still)
Blood it self isn't something that ages like cells or humans... Blood is a mixture of water oxygenaded iron and some other things The oxygenaded iron gives it it's color... The only part of blood that you can call actually you is the cells in the blood like red and white blood cells... Blood is thicker than eater simply because it is denser .. like fresh water and salt water.. though there you don't notice the chance as much (depending on the construction of salt)
This is not like the original series - the Avatar isn't allowed to break the law or do whatever she wants. Aang and his friends were outlaw terrorists. That's not acceptable anymore.
Next episode tho!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's Crazy!!!!!!!!!! U guys gonna get lose your mind 🤯 😃 good Theory but naw you again u guys will see! This show its bad ass! 🔥
The red lotus and Amon the benders in Tlok are stronger people are just bias No one could metal bend like Kuvira or lava bend and combustion man wasn’t as powerful as Pli. And Ming Hua and Unalaq takes water bending to the next level.
I fw the reaction but some things to clear up: Each form of bending has its sub-elements. For water it’s blood and healing (ice is just part of the nature of water so it doesn’t really count), meaning all water benders can manipulate ice, but not all water benders can blood bend or heal. Same as the idea that not all firebenders can bend lighting and same with earth bending and metal bending. Secondly, the laws of time still come to play even in ATLA and LOK. Plus y’all saw how old katara was lmao, so if u think about it, there’s no way it was tarlok in the flashback. And y’all kinda reached with the theory about keeping his blood the same age lmao. And third, the theory about Amon being a descendant of ozai’s isn’t plausible either bc he literally only had 2 kids, Zuko and azula, and both of them are benders😂 he didn’t have any more kids cuz he was single and he was in jail for life, plus taking bending away WAS only an ability the avatar could do, so to speak for right now
