GREAT VIDEO!! You just tickle me. Your hard work will pay off. The lazzefair comment after a tree attacks you or you accidentally romp thru your lettuce... hysterical right after you explain something not turning out the way you planned. Such a mature attitude after so much hard work!!😁 Actually, I'm definitely old enough to be your mom, & you make SUCH a better adult than me!!!🤣🤣🤣
Just don't change any part of your videos or how you do them. What you're doing it now makes you a breath of spring on RUclips. Your humility about how long you've been gardening is refreshing to say the least. And I might have told you this before, but YOU LOOK HAPPY. Even when things don't go exactly as planned... HAPPY. That is a biggie for me. This world needs to see more HAPPY people, just getting on with regular things again. And, in my opinion... It makes me happy to watch you be happy. Enough droning on... thanks for what you do & the way you do it! Have a great weekend!

Hi Becky. I'm 75 and as I watch your videos on canning I bought a pressure canner so I can learn how to preserve my garden produce I keep adding to my garden each year. I've in South Florida so I grow in winter here. I'm curious about those mushrooms. I wonder if I could grow them here I love mushroom. A mushroom powder dehydrated sounds yummy to me. Good luck on your garden. I raised all my beds to 2 ft high less bending and back pain. 😂

Omg you made me laugh, first it looked like you hit your head on the branch, then you fell backwards in your garden bed sacrificing a few lettuce. I thought to myself “she’s just like me” so focused on the garden not the surroundings. Congratulations on getting all that corn and mushrooms planted. Can’t wait to see your recipe on the corn salsa. 🌽🌶🥰🥰🥰

Your videos even though I’m way down in south Florida help me to come to ideas I otherwise wouldn’t have. Happy Mothers day!
I have not been having much fortune with Wine cap mushrooms.
But I think that the aminos in mushrooms helped me with getting over renouncing all meat-eating, especially red meat. But I think it takes around a hundred mushrooms to get near 50 grams of protein.
It is not hard for vegans to get enough vegetarian protein. But getting a natural source of vitamin B12 seems to require whole grain sourdough-bread, fermented rice, and duckweed. Lactovegetarians can get a nice serving of complete protein with vitamin B12 just eating yogurt.
Thank you for your great video efforts!

In 1986 I was going to Clackamas Community College in Oregon City taking an Ornament Horticulture Course. One of the student I went to school with grew mushrooms as a hobby. She had her husband build her a 10 X 12 shed lined with trays she could pull out. I don't
t know what medium she used but she grew button mushrooms. She grew so many she made about $600.00 a month selling them to family and friends. The money paid for her hobby plus a lot of garden supplies. I learned during my course that wood chips need a tremendous amount of nitrogen to break down. So they rob your soil of that nutrient. You should check that out and see if it still is the same. If it is, chicken poop is very, very high in nitrogen. Love your video's and you!

Another source of free wood chips may be your power company. They do a lot of right of way clearing which they chip up. Most power companies will maintain waiting lists of customers who want chips and they normally will drop them off at your place. They also will usually have waiting lists for used power poles and the large spools but on those you usually have to pick them up. If you need any of these immediately this wouldn’t be a good source but if you are planning for the long haul get signed up on their lists.

I'm late once again, but the whit stuff is indeed the mycelium of the wine cap (mould is also a fungus, so also a mycelium; thus would be impossible to differentiate by eye I presume), but these fungal spore kits are produced with sterile growing medium to give competing fungi no chance.

Great video! And thanks for the free wood chip information, I paused your video and went and registered to be a drop off location!
Sadly, I do have to tell you, that pink powder/coating on your corn is a very bad pesticide! I recently watched a documentary about it and how it instantly killed millions of bees… You want and need those bees to pollinate your beautiful garden! So next year, maybe try to find corn that isn’t treated with it?
I can’t wait to get my wood chips!
