- Join the concrete crew as we pour a beautiful colored and stamped patio that looks just like old barn boards. This was probably my favorite wood stamped patio that we've ever done. This was one tough customer but he loved it in the end. Enjoy!

Jade never misses a day of work and greets the boss every morning with a wagging tail. Definitely deserving of a hefty raise can’t find help that reliable anymore
shes a bit bull vile breed of a dog, they also wag their tails when they are mauling some poor child to death.

Exactly. They each made a different excuse. Erik no call no show. Tinos car "broke" down. Francisco is "sick" they didn't finish their job by Sunday and had to get it done Monday to not keep Erik's customer hanging the entire week. A great example of why most bosses don't like their employees doing extra work because it always eventually bleeds into their company

Everyone always praises ray, but I hardly see comments about bugs. Never complains never misses a day and knows what he’s doing!
The US has been stranger for the past 20 or years. It's always all about praising the "under dog" which I get but it's gone so far to where the few who are left keeping the country running are ignored and forgotten about.

Yes it does very disappointing to see the guys take advantage of Ryan’s good will, in all my 22 yrs of bricklaying I never took advantage of my employers , those guys don’t last too long but I hope they aren’t doing that to Ryan
I agree. There was a guy that I worked with in landscaping, when he started doing side jobs we noticed a change in him. We all noticed that after a few months of doing those side jobs he would call out all the time. Well on the way to one of our jobs one morning we just so happened to see him in front of someone’s house working on a side job, but he was “sick” that day. Not saying Eric is doing that but I’ve seen it happen.

That's obvious. They are taking advantage of Ryan. Here where I live if you don't show up for work you're fired, as simple as that, and if you are really sick you have to go to the doctor and he will write a paper proving you are sick and then you have to present the paper to your boss.
Goes to show no matter how good you are to your workers doesn't guarantee loyalty what a shame

This is a perfect example how a boss educated their people, most times I see, move, go away, it is taken to long, but all credits to Ryan, he showed him how to do it, even let him record him and give him homework to learn from it at home.

He’s teaching guys and letting them rent his equipment at a very low rate so they can call in to do side jobs and be late more often than not. Put hours, wear and tear on his machines but atleast he’s nice! Don’t get me wrong I’d like to think I’d be the same way but it’s not sustainable. It’s a business, if it wasn’t for RUclips money these guys would have been gone

I strongly disagree with not letting employees do side work. Especially with being seasonal worker and getting so much time to work. Good luck getting any employees to sign that.

don't think it's a coincidence that eric, tino and francisco all called out on the same day... clearly doing work together. tino's car miraculously works the next day, and franny is no longer sick. extremely untrustworthy if you ask me

You really do have such nice clients. I always make an effort to have drinks (and snacks when applicable) available for anyone who is doing outside work for me. I'm disabled and have to hire out my lawn and snow removal work. For the lawn crew, I always put out a pitcher of either cold water or lemonade and I always offer my snow guy hot chocolate. I would say that 96% of the time they never take me up on it, but I still try, haha.
You have another concrete master upcoming in your family. Daniel is one impressive boy! I love how he doesn't ask if he CAN work, he just gets to it. Such a sweet, smart, dedicated, hard working little man!
I love having Jade on the channel. I even love her name. My daughter's middle name is Jayde. The only reason why I tossed the "Y" in it is because my middle name is Gayle and I thought that kind of tied us together, plus I think it looks pretty. It's a girl thing!
I really enjoy your channel, Ryan. I definitely am not in your demographic being a 50 something, disabled, single parent, haha but I have to say that of all the channels I follow, when I see a Victory OS video has been uploaded, I know which video I'm watching first. Tbh Francisco is way better than Eric all around... They're always arguing with each other...He thinks he's Francisco's boss even on Ryan's jobs...My money is on Francisco in every way..idk why Ryan tends to baby Eric..I think if Ryan invests his time in Francisco he'll be a better boss and business owner in the long run.

Ryan and Bugs went full nose to toes on that step! Beautiful. The homeowner enjoyed every minute you guys were there. Bugs using that edger he bought from him was cool!
Eric using Victory logo’d equipment, using Victory employees, and wearing Victory merch on his side jobs. Without Ryan there to go over everything the way he does on his sites, I hope Eric isn’t doing sub par work as well. Seems like he is basically using the Victory name and resources as his own at this point. Ryan is a rare breed. Heck of a man, very unselfish to help these kids the way he does. Eric has definitely earned the opportunity and help he’s been getting
Edit: actually I just noticed the only 3 who aren’t wearing Victory clothing at the job is Eric and his boys lol

It looked like everyone was going to be showing up for work reliably, but 3 guys calling in sick on a Monday brings back memories of the old days. Hope Ryan doesn't let it get to back a regular thing. It's not fair to a great boss like Ryan to get beat up doing side jobs on the weekend and then not show up on Monday.

Ray is super valuable already. As a business owner I can tell you finding someone that is going to do what they say they’re going to do when they say they’re going to do it has more value than an experienced guy that’s unreliable. Ray has more value than he could even imagine himself.

I'm glad the meetings went well. Huzzah. Big Ray always there, always on time. He's still learning, but no one is born knowing things. My ex-husband and I had this discussion when he was complaining about the way I was running the winch truck, so I went in the house and made bread. I'm so disappointed in the three amigos, especially Eric. Stop disillusioning me, guys. I guess being sick is an excuse, but come on, all three at once? That could have been a disaster. Bugs is still the top dog. Well, Jade is the top dog, but Bugs is right there with her.

@@will-.-4316 from day 1 Erik has always given me vibes that he's the kind of guy who will go on his own eventually while trying to take some of ryans workers and customers along with him. He seems sneaky like that. I'm 31 now and have spent the past 13 years working for 3 different small businesses. 1 landscaping and 2 excavating. I've seen stuff like that happen all the time and the guys who did it all had Erik's type of persona. They take advantage of you, give back little to nothing in return, have no appreciation, and eventually stab you in the back

Monday was ruff for me too I got a go pro the day before to take videos like you for my new job you are inspiring in many areas. I’ve followed and watched you because my family are all into concrete and shockcrete my dad builds pools I used to work with him when I was young it was gunite at the time but my cousin he does what you do and taught me concrete work but you two are probably the best examples of how to teach people about the trade. You remind me of him a lot he’s fighting cancer and winning but I wish you long health and thanks again for the inspiration on video day to day. Keep up the Gooooood work.
