One of those games where you're shocked it even went into OT when you look at the box score, seeing as Pittsburgh had 606 yards of total offense compared to Cleveland's 345
@@NFLVault thanks for the content but really hope to see some packers Vikings battles like the antonio freeman game and when redskins signed the all 90s team in the year 2000 all those close games they had other than that keep up good work lol
Great game. The MVP of this game in my mind is Franco Harris (1950-2022). Not only did he run for over 140 yards, he caught key passes up the middle to move the ball and make first downs, particularly in OT when it counted. The original broadcast was Sunday, November 25, 1979 when my aunt from Cleveland came to visit my mom and us in N.O. for Thanksgiving. Great memory.
NFL Throwback, as a Raiders fan since we play the Bucs in a couple weeks can you do: Weird Pirate Bowl Rematch: Bucs vs Raiders Week 3 2004 Rich Gannon's last game where he suffered that neck injury that ended his career. Warren Sapp was with the Raiders and Tim Brown as well as Charlie Garner were on the Bucs. Pat Summerall was calling the game instead of Mike Patrick. The last reason that game was memorable was because that was the game where Tim Brown scored his last TD in the NFL. Or you can do Michael Bush ends the Bucs Defensive Reign Raiders vs Bucs Week 17 2008: Jon Gruden's last game with the Bucs, Jeff Garcia's last game starting in the NFL, Derrick Brooks last game, Montey Kiffin's last game coordinating the Bucs' defense, and Michael Bush rushed for like 175 yards and 2 TDs and that was the highpoint of Jamarcus Russell's career and those two wins the Raiders got at the end of the season in 2008 basically got Tom Cable the full head coaching role with the Raiders.
Unrelated topic Tim Couch was the first and last Browns QB to beat the Steelers in Heinz Field and out of out of all the Browns QBs since ‘99 he has the best record against the Steelers.
Nice of you to spotlight this game. Great comeback for the Steelers against a quality divisional opponent in an already tight AFC Central. Keep up the good work.
I may be a jerk for asking but why in the hell were cars parked at the back corner of the end zone. Great leap by Lynn Swann over those cars. So dangerous. Swann could have been seriously hurt there. Imagine the way they hit back in those days if there had been an aggressive force out
I remember the coach of these browns is the one in nfl films how hank stram prepares for gameday when he was the saints coach I remember this browns team blew the game to the eventual world championship raiders the next year
Browns have had some really good teams. Won championships. It's been a while but this year it looks like they are good in 2020 playoffs potential good. Still ravens division to lose though the Steelers look back this year after a competitive year last year but missed the playoffs ruclips.net/video/lmiBo95rBk8/видео.html

Terry Bradshaw is one of All-Time greats that has ever played football!!
This brings back so many memories. Long-time Steelers fan. I miss the teams from the 70s and 80s

That full game is online

And got them in the playoffs beating Michael vick
He was 3-4 against the Steelers and had some good games. Hopefully Baker can win Sunday
Baker Mayfield has since joined that club with his win at Heinz in the 2020 wild card
LC Greenwood was a BEAST 💪🏽
The Steelers were a really good team in the 70s they were a dynasty because of Bradshaw and that ferocious defense
and good running back; Harris, Blier, and great receivers like Swann, Stallworth, the whole team was really good
Nice of you to spotlight this game. Great comeback for the Steelers against a quality divisional opponent in an already tight AFC Central. Keep up the good work.
This game was played 10 yrs before I was born old school football was the best
Same 89
Good Times when we had Terry Bradshaw and the Steel Curtain Defense
Fans had pretty good parking in those days.
Either that or a very aggressive car dealership :-)
Those are brand new cars. Probably a promotion
No HD footage back in the 70’s huh? 🤷🏻♂️LoL
Love the orange pants!
They're Baaaaaaack!
Thanks for posting! AMAZING game!!!!
I can't wait for this game this Sunday. Not doubt in my mind that the Steelers will win the game.
Hey man same but this the best browns team they have played in awhile it's going to be a close game
@@Mercury_458 I need my Auburn tigers to break out their college version of the Steele curtain also
Didn’t know Terry was balding all the way back in 1979
He was balding a few years into his career.
He was balding in 1969 lol i still have a set of cards my dad gave me.
He was rocking a comb over on draft day 1970 lmao
Terry Bradahaw Legend Of Ours Steelers Winner Of 4 Super Bowls In the 70s
Was lyle alzado on this browns team ?
@@ericsigersmith6067 I believe so...if I remember right '79 was the first year that he played for the Browns.
we need to get back to tht kinda football 🏈
tht wht u call smashed mouth football 🏈
You know it’s ole school when you see backs in a 3pt stance 😄
I was legit going to ask if you could upload Browns vs Steelers Week 5 2003? The last time the Browns won in Heinz Field.
Yes!
@@ericsigersmith6067 The upload to that game will be fantastic. I think this upcoming game will be very good. We’ll see.

Thats first thought i had
@@erocs9747 @kaminator515 It was some sort of sponsorship deal, either with a nearby dealership or with Chrysler itself.
Been looking forward to the Browns Steelers game next week
Going be one interesting game
This weeks matchup?
I never knew you had videos. This early in NFL.
That Browns font used for the thumbnail is the current one. They had a different, better one in 1979
If only Sipe knew how to throw the ball away...
Look thts real football 🏈
I wish i was alive to see these steelers, altho i had it pretty good with the 2000s teams
Album out now! 🙌
Mmmm, old school football.
That’s Charlie Jones on the call of this game
And how about them kardiac kids
Ya I remember the nfl films team yearbook that's what they would say
You knows it's from a long time ago when it shows the browns still in the playoff hunt late into the season
They are again!
A tight division in the 1970s with the Steelers.... and the BROWNS????
Sipe was solid if you watch the browns yearbooks by nfl films on these teams kinda forgotten like joe Ferguson for the buffalo Bill's
41 Years Ago
Glory days of smashmouth football
I remember the coach of these browns is the one in nfl films how hank stram prepares for gameday when he was the saints coach I remember this browns team blew the game to the eventual world championship raiders the next year
That was a huge stop for the Steelers on the Browns 2nd possession. Cleveland started out hot
This weeks playoff matchup!
Suggestions for this week:
Rams/49ers: 1985 Week 14 MNF
Bears/Panthers: Week 11 November 2005 defensive war
Jets/Dolphins: 2010 SNF
Giants/Washington: 1986 MNF
what about chicago vs philly fog game ..?
Now this old school..
..
Packers vs Bucs sapp vs Favre beef
Steelers: Arsenal!
Browns: Hotspur! xD
Funny both teams start 4-0 but the Steelers took all the glory
After their 4-0 start, the Browns would go 5-7 the rest of the way.
1:00
No don’t post a video now the Bills are playing!
Browns only have like 4 wins in Pittsburgh since 1970
The last Times was in 2003
Mel Blount clutch
The receivers had the dropsies
This was interesting...............
Don’t even need to watch the video to know the browns probably lost

Faker Mayfield now has the most wins at first energy stadium for a QB... The sad part is, it was previously held by Big Ben Roethlisberger 😂😂
Or Big Roethlisburger
browns defense sucked against the steelers running game . lot of steroids then in the nfl
Terry Bradshaw is the most overrated QB in the nfl history.
No it’s Joe Namath
Are you Hollywood Henderson? Lmao
Damn that’s some shit quality
OwO
Those are weird Ravens uniforms
Because that’s the Cleveland Browns and always will be
?? There is only the Old Cleveland Browns & the Cleveland Browns. They don't name NFL teams after a f*cking poem kiddo.
