  • In this classic model kit review, I am looking at Monogram Classics' 1/48 DeHavilland Mosquito Bomber (kit no. 0129). We'll be looking at the finished kit, the instructions, the surface detailing, the transparencies, the decals, potential problem areas to watch out for, and finally, I'll be giving my conclusions. This classic kit has been around for years. With the newer Tamiya Mosquito now available, is it still worth building? Let's find out together!

Beautiful job. You're finished model looks just as good as you're going to get out of any modern kit. I have a few of those older Monogram kits and the fit is always perfect. The tail is probably warped since it's been sitting in the box for so long.

I built one in the 60s as a child, in the 70s,80s and 90s, in my early 60s now I'm going to get me another one, she will make a perfect day build 😊

Another blast from the past. I think I built this in one day as a kid. Excellent work!

OMG, a deja vu review. I built this circa movie " 633 Squadron ". ( special effects really bad but real flying scenes off the chart incredible ). They were 15th AAC escorts out of Libya until we took over boot of Italy WW2. I built it in night fighter version, before all of these great glues and materials Only trouble I had was with landing gear going together. The most amazing aspect of the real Mosquito is it didn't have counter rotating props because UK didn't want the added expense and wanted all aircraft standardized. So it took a little extra training time to fly. You definitely finished the model very well, excellent finish. Can you share which paint you used, the camo was very realistic. Thanks for sharing.

Wow great build of a classic! Would Love your thoughts on the Monogram classic TBM Avenger as I’ve got one lined up on the bench.

What do you use to attach clear parts like the canopy here for example?🤔
