If Parker Meadows bats .240 hes one of the best players in baseball, the reasons are he does so many things elite, baserunning, fielding, throwing and Im one of about 4000 people who seen him in person hit a 520 foot homer in Toledo(2023) that I thought would be on sports center and become historic but nobody in the media talked about it. It went over the left corner of a tall building beyond right center. And his throwing is also very underrated. He has a great accurate arm and gets rid of the ball quickly. On top of all this Parker is mature, focused ,never satisfied , self impressed or down whether hes 4 for 4 or 0 for 4. If a centerfileder is made in a laboratory its parker meadows. His height is a reach advantage to get balls that nobody else can get and his strides cover more ground on long range dead sprints And that is the best celebration in baseball when the outfielders spin around, they get a kick out of that and so do we.
Id been reserving my optimism with this team for a month now. The games had been fun but I was scared of getting my hopes up and getting hurt again. But I realized something in the first game of the KC series. Regardless of what happens the way this team has scratched and clawed and fought these guys deserve the fanbases optimism. They've done everything they can to get back into contention and they deserve nothing less then the full support of the fanbase for the next ten games.

This is absolute crazy!! This a team that sold everything that didnt have long term value at the trade deadline. The fourth worst team in the AL in august. They are tied for the youngest team in the MLB. The odds of a team making the playoffs that was 7-8 games under .500 in august that then proceeded to trade everthing they possibly could, and consists half of rookies is just out of this world astronomical. To even have a chance to make it, they wouldve needed to (and have) played as the best team in baseball. These type of end of season comebacks happen with teams that are good and just had bad inuries, and get hot. Teams dont make comebacks after selling thier team and throwing in the towel and promoting all rookies. What they are doing is HISTORIC. If they make the playoffs, based on the makeup of this team, it will be considered one of the greatest comebacks to a season ever. This shit just doesnt happen.
