In the NinjaKiwi blog, somebody asked this. Their response was "the bloons swear they (the aces and heli pilots) have aimbot." Which I guess just means neva-miss targeting is just better aimbot or somethin.

Actually, a pretty logical explanation of this is that the darts of the plane actually go down, and that it looks the same size from our perspective because they go down just really really straight. Another good explanation, is that since the bloons are actually 2D, they aren't bound by many real physics, the monkeys are 3d, like us, take for example YOU see a 2d object in real life, just floating around exactly with 3d physics, and then you punch it, then punch it from in the air. You should still technically hit it.
Nah nah, you've got t all wrong. You see, the plane actually shoots the darts downwards. But you can't see the darts fly downwards, because they reach the speed of light. And then, you're only able to see them once they are about to hit the bloons.

I think the darts from the ace fall similar to flechettes from the opening of fighter plans in ww1 and 2 used in trenches
i believe ace monkey flies really low since it looks like it from the angle we get so it hits the bloons wich float right above the ground
