So basically all 1.5 mile tracks will just be them running wide open all the way around the track? Why not increase the HP so they actually have to lift in the corners? That would increase passing.

can't make everyone happy. everyone complained that racing was too boring when the cars had less downforce, more horsepower. They just can't win with this whiney fanbase. just accept that not every single race is going to be action packed. That's just how racing is.

I was hoping they would’ve put more power in these new cars. They’ve got so much more aero tech on em to keep ‘em glued to the ground, so why not push the envelope and get them shits bussin to at least 750hp? Make em sound better too. Like, they don’t sound terrible; but it sounds like a constant carb fart on downshift the whole time. "They’ve got so much more aero tech on em to keep ‘em glued to the ground" Actually no. Yes they have a diffuser, but the body is symmetrical. There is way less side force on these cars, compared to the other cars. Side force is big on "gluing" them to the ground. Also they have a lot less side walls in the tires, which once again is not good for grip, the tires are also a lot stiffer. The skirts are way different, the splitter is pretty much gone. The car is higher off the ground. It's actually quite a bit less forces/aero on these cars. Which is why there's been quite a few single car spins, because they're not glued down as much as the other cars were.
